The Detail MJ (not exactly the best source) have posted this, supposedly the artwork and track list for Decade. This is fake right?

I don't see anything, it needs Instagram login.
Not everyone has an account though........
Can't you get the post to show up properly?

Nope, sorry :( Same thing.....

Thanks for trying anyhow.

Argh so annoying! Can anyone help?

Here's an idea - why don't you just take screenshots of the supposed artwork and tracklist and just upload them? It's what I did to show what came up on my screen........

Good luck and thanks again.

^^^ awesome, it worked ;)

As for their authenticity, who knows? One cannot easily trust things posted online, but then again, there may be some truth to these images. Only those directly involved could possibly know the answer.

In any case, I think it's safe to say that the scrappin' of this project was a very good idea indeed. Dangerous IS an absolute masterpiece. Plus, the whole greatest hits part turned into Disc 1 of HIStory, so Michael (and his team) really made the right call to release what he did, when he did.

It's the first time I hear about 'Strawberry Fields Forever' being covered by Michael. It sounds unlikely. Then again, I probably would have said the same thing about A Horse With No Name, years ago...

Not the first time I hear about it. But no proof of its existence. (And I think it's usually associated to Decade.)

Afair this was printed in the final issue of Black&White magazine. Many have said the whole Call Hector article was just a hoax.

There was a fad at that time (late '80s/early '90s) from record companies to release such greatest hits compilation albums (Madonna's 'The Immaculate Collection' album comes to mind).

The official artwork cover of the 'Decade' album was never revealed by his record company.

It was reported that there were actually two final track lists of the 'Decade' album which were presented to him so that he could choose one, but he rejected them both.

Michael Jackson set his face against the release of the 'Decade' album because he did not want to release an album that looked back.

Also, he did not record the 'Strawberry Fields Forever' cover song, taking into account Bill Bottrell's statement (that Michael Jackson chose from The Beatles band to record for release only 'Come Together').

If this album really exists somewhere, I would be thrilled to see it released today. Even though the title 'Decade 1979-1989' is dated, as is the tracklist. But it would be an album that Michael actually worked on. I know it's another compilation album – we already have a lot of those – but I would love to hear It Doesn't Really Matter (early version of Who Is It – it must be different) and Strawberry Fields Forever. Also, since it would take another two years for Michael to release Dangerous, and knowing he never stopped tweaking songs, I imagine Black Or White and Heal The World might be different on this album.

If it exists, they should release it. It's the closest we can get to an album that is actually produced by Michael himself.

That was published in one the last Black & White magazines, in the CALL HECTOR section.

It was debunked as ''fake'' since there are no records of any recording of STRAWBERRY FIELDS and the cover uses a picture that the editors on that magazine used several time before.

^^^

The mention of the song Men In Black seems very promising. The reporter writes he was most impressed by MJ's vocals.

I really hope Men In Black is as good as people say - and I really hope we'll soon get to hear it.
