Would you be open for a duet between Michael and Paris?

I mean Paris Jackson of course :devilish:

It would get a lot of attention for Michael and Paris and it would reinforce the thought that his children loved him dearly.
Obviously Paris has to want it herself and if she wouldn't be open for it I'd understand just as much as she is carving her own way in life. But she is a singer herself so eventually this will get brought up and then decisions need to get made

So yay or nay?

I think this would be very sweet. I would totally support it. I really don't follow Paris or her music, but I think it would be nice to see some kind of musical connection between them. That said, like you mentioned, she probably wants to forge her own path. Also, I don't know a ton about her music, but I'm wondering how well the genres would meld together. Or their voices, for that matter. I think it's a nice idea though!

no, unless they give her scraps like they did with drake where mike had a line recorded in lazy head voice some throwaway 20 seconds loop he recorded while taking a dump.

I won't mind Paris finishing some of Michael's unfinished work, giving it her own style. That would be so much more acceptable to me than anyone else finishing his work. It's her birth right after all, and has an element of carrying on her father's legacy.

It would be pretty but I'm going to say no. Paris Jackson's music style differs a lot from her father's and a duet wouldn't fit. Maybe a vocal harmony on a song of hers (something similar to The Jacksons's The Hurt or Lenny Kravitz's Low) would be better.

Tbh, I haven’t heard any of Paris’ music and I have no idea what she sounds like or the sort of music she makes. But I won’t have a problem with a Michael and Paris duet. It is surely better than allowing someone like Drake to butcher Michael’s vocals.

She recently performed on the tonight show and she was great. I think this could really work.

I think for sure it’s inevitable that a MJ/Paris song will be recorded and released.

If a song is not vocally complete, but the melody and the musical part is (nearly) finished - it would be a shame the song never gets a release.

FX - People of The World is AMAZING... But the verses has no vocals. - If Paris could write some great fitting lyrics and then released the song as a duet with MJ it would be fine by me. - But it would no longer be a MJ song. - It would turn into a strange mix coming from MJ's ideas, melody etc. but would end up as a Paris feat MJ... - But a charity song could also be made of the song with many guest stars.

only on unfinished songs, where a verse/bridge/chorus is missing.
There are probably dozens and dozens of those around. I had hoped more of his unfinished vocals would show up in other people’s songs

For example this song, used archived vocals from Curtis Mayfield to great effect.

That's what I would imagine. Paris finishing an almost done song with a bridge (I know what that means now due to Mexico deposition), or maybe even remix a little to give it her flavour.
