Let's end the confusion about MJ's unreleased tracks here

Ok- WOW, first off, WOW, second, I am actually in shock holy cow we got to hear Jungle!!! Unbelievable, it sounds fantastic, like one of MJ's classic earworms, I truly truly cannot believe he did not record it, bummer. And on that note can you fill me in on what this is?? I don't speak german and would really like to know who these people are, why/how they have this stuff and just the whole reasoning and intention behind this video in general, I guess you could say I'm out of the loop on that regard... and it would help me know what to expect in part two too.
It seems that the guy is one of the persons who run the fansite jackson.ch.

He is talking about the creation of Invincible in general and how it could be if MJ would have released it already in 2000. Thats why he is playing outtakes and early takes.
He says that he would have prefered more MJ solo productions (like Hollywood Tonight) on the album. I have no idea how he earns Jungle and i dont know what to except from part 2 of the video.

But i certainly will share it here 😉

Did he mention when the mix of TWYLM was made?

Isn't that an alternative or even earlier mix of "The Way You Love Me" at 0:54? Could that mix be from the same DAT where "Jungle City" was found? There is also "What More Can I Give" on the tape but they didn't play the song in the video, maybe in part 2...
Also decided that is good to point out the guy in the video says that "Jungle" was produced by Brad Buxer and recorded by Dr. Freeze.
The track starts with beatbox then it gradually builds into full instrumental.
In early 2000, the song along with 3 other demos (i.e. "The Way You Love Me", "What More Can I Give" and "Blue Powder") were put by Buxer on a DAT titled "MJ Bible", which served as a compilation of Michael's favorite ideas. That same tape was auctioned in 2018.
MJ later lost complete interest in the song and the way Freeze sings is what appears to be his interpretation of how Michael would had recorded the track.

I dont think so. But i guess it was definitely made before 2000. maybe in 1998/1999…
Assuming that the mix comes from the tape that was auctioned or that it's a copy it says that the mix is from March 7th 2000. It might be an early mix indeed.

They might play “Shut Up and Dance” too since it’s from the same era.
If the songs come from the MJ Bible DAT it's more likely that we'll get the remaining songs on the tape like WMCIG and Blue Powder. It would be incredible if the person showed other songs from that era like Shut Up And Dance or Monster though.

It's not MJFrance but MJ Backstage

I quote :
"
MJB.

Thank you so much! What a fascinating revelation.
I dont know if this was posted before…
A swiss MJ fansite posted a video talking about the creation of Invincible.

He also plays snippets of the unreleased song „Jungle“. He says that MJ never recorded vocals for it. So the singer on the song he plays is apparently Dr. Freeze. Sounds like a really interesting song imo. Sad that MJ never did his vocals.

Anyway. Here is the link to the vid. Jungle starts at around 40:02
Snippets of Jungle
This sounds CRAZY.

There's more that leaked.
I tried to transcribe the lyrics, I'm not sure if it's accurate or not.

People walkin'
Children talkin'
Criminal stalkin'
Government hawkin'
The contribution
Defeat polution
Streets are gruesome
Face the (?)
(?) crawling, scream and shoutin'
Workers speaking and texts are sickenin'
Unemployment
Lies are growin'
You cant even tell if it's raining or snowing
Theres no way out, theres no escaping
People smiling, they're just faking
Swinging like Tarzan, two skyscrapers
Watching your own-

Welcome to the jungle!
Coming/going to the city!
They don't (?)
Going to the city!

Let me show you around
Taking (?) you're new in town
Don't be afraid to make new friends if you no/don't doubt

If you cannot take the (?) move yourself (?)
Welcome to the jungle!
Coming/Going to the city!

Jungle city we go!
We got to work and see!
(?) we go!

Just like you and me!
Jungle city we go!
We got to work and see!
(?) we go!

Just like you and me! (Hoo)

Got to say I’m not sold on Jungle, rough demo etc I know but not surprised MJ didn’t put much to it.
But it is cool to hear either way right? I really wouldn’t mind hearing more writer’s demos.
I think Michael got to so many demos written for him or with him in mind that it was always going to be hard to get him do your songs.
Naturally I’m more interested in songs he had a bigger hand in.

"Sidewalks crowded, screamin', shoutin'" seems to be the correct lyric.
EDIT: And the correct lyric for "If you cannot take the (?) move yourself (?)" is "If you cannot take it, move yourself around/right now!"

Mike should have kept working with Dr Freeze, he sounds more fresh than anything else around that era.
I really dig the Jungle demo, it's got Tabloid Junkie/Shout vibes.

I imagine Mike would have worked on it and espicially the chorus, gave it more of a memorable hook, although I love the "welcome to the jungle" opening chorus line

The breakdown is so good, I'm sure with MJ's vocals and whatever change he'd make it would make the song even better. I can't understand why MJ ditched it and went for a song as weak and mediocre like GYWOOM instead.

I wish Dr. Freeze produced more of Invincible. Imo the album would’ve been so much better.
