You said it yourself,the full song was relesead on the Italian version of the compilation album ,,King of Pop,,. The ,,King of Pop,, compilation(with its many editions ,the italian one containing the full version of ,,Carousel,,) and the ,,Thriller 25,, project are two different things.

Carousel was already relesead on the 2001 special edition. And Got The Hots was mostly available only in Japan,during the ,,Thriller 25,, era At least the Michael album had 7 new songs tho
