The forums were buzzing back then. The fan campaigns were finally being heard. We got snippets of the raw audio from 15th/16th thanks to Go flying/Birchey..
Finally seeing an 88 show in full. No more half tapes, LOUNIS PRODUCTION logo, just an unedited complete concert.
I need to fully rewatch this show to give a definite answer but I remember Billie Jean standing out for me. Dirty Diana, APOM, RWY, Beat it are all solid. My only gripes have nothing to do with the performance but the video quality. If they ever find the master for 16th I think they should re...
In MJ's autobiography "moonwalk" he explains that he admitted to to getting the surgery on his chin. Yes he stated years later that he only had 2 nose jobs...I think his mother was right when she said he was probably embarrassed to admit the real amount. I dont think he had as many as the...
Never thought I'd hear live vocals from this tour lol. This makes History tour way more interesting imo. Now if they did release this tour id prefer them mix some of the songs with the best live vocals.
It would be cool to get the Filmed Billie Jean performance from the victory tour re scanned in HD. I know it wont happen but it would be nice lol. Making of Thriller & Thriller 4k on Bluray should be released.
You'd think, however they showed MITM from wembley in BAD25 at TIFF. Going from seeing APOM in HD to the stretched out VHS was disappointing.
Making of Thriller should be remastered and included no doubt.
Any kind of release would be awesome imo. I just like the idea of packaging concerts from the same era. If wembley was in HD I would give Bad25 a 10/10 honestly. Victory Tour was the biggest selling tour at the time. Had the best tech (lighting, stage etc). I still consider it to be the Thriller...
Guess I'm one of the few. Go back to the threads when Toronto 84 leaked. Several fans here were excited/very interested in this tour. All we had before this was LQ Dallas & Kansas. If the legal tape didnt exist I would be hoping for an official victory concert release included in T40.
