This is a your supposition. We need explanations because at the moment, it looks that Billboard used double standards. It is inconceivable that for Madonna those copies "sold" with the same methodology were counted, while for MJ is not happened.
It's only promotion. There aren't 50 official charts. Estate counted the iTunes Daily Chart to write the press releases. Counting only the official weekly charts, Xscape was #1 only in 5 countries (at the moment).
