It's important to know if posthumous released songs are included?
If yes, this is my Least 5:
- Don't Be Messing Round
- I'm so Blue
- She's Trouble
- Can't Get Outta The Rain
- Serious Effect
If not this would be my Least 5:
- Girlfriend (way too cheesy)
- Superfly Sister (I never got into...
It's kind of important for me to hear your thoughts on this because maybe it would have been worse for him had he lived. And then I might come to the conclusion that it's good the way it is.
Unfortunately, I believe that Michale's life would not have taken a turn for the better, even if it...
If Michael hadn't died and if he were still alive today, what do you think could have happened since then?
I don't mean fan wishful thinking like he's released multiple #1 albums or toured for a number of years.
How do you realistically assess the course of his private life and his career?
If I could pick a good starting point for the film, it would be 1986. Michael visits the ranch for the first time and decides to buy it. In the evening he is at the Grammy Awards and wins for We Are The World. His short speech already says so much about him and makes a perfect introduction. Then...
I think the band is much better with him. Without him their concerts are barely watchable for me. He's got by far the strongest voice.
Watch their concert at Night of the proms 2017, their best since 2001. If they were on that level all the time, I'd go watch their shows immediately.
Does anybody know why Jermaine is not part of the Jacksons anymore for about three years?
He was not always part of their performances the years prior, but they still advertised with him as part of the band. Not anymore.
Anyway, where is Jermaine nowadays? What is he doing? Did he retire?
These are some of the last "live" recordings we ever got of MJ. In the TII movie they used CD and demo versions of BJ and Thriller, so these are the most recent ones out there. And we never heard him sing BOTDF before, so this is understandably very interesting to many fans.
What is best about it in my eyes is the fact this is the only live version of BOTDF we will probably ever get to hear. And it is not even that bad (Beat It and Thriller sound much worse!)
Type in "MJ Munich 1997 Live Vocals" on YT if you haven't heard it yet.
Maybe the even more important question is how many songs the Estate really own?
Michael was very chaotic at times, especially in his last decade. He might have left behind a lot of recorded material in Neverland, gave songs to dubious people who kept it and I could imagine a lot of stuff have...
