travis3000, there's a name I haven't seen in over a decade. Wasn't that the person who claimed back around 2009/10 they had a relative or some connection with Sony? Was always giving updates about the will.i.am songs being released on the Michael album. Gave us all hope but then nothing came...
My favorite song by Justin Timberlake, and it's not really well-known. Maybe it's weak lyrically, but the bridge, the strings, the outro, I never get tired of this song. If only MJ was able to do his thing on this.
I'm not even sure how they got connected in the first place. I really don't know any Loren productions off hand prior to him working with MJ.
Teddy Riley already had a bunch of hits prior to working with MJ. Riley's productions were just on another level compared to Loren.
Speaking of...
He never recorded with Frank Sinatra. Where are you getting that info from? He did visit Sinatra when he was recording LA is My Lady produced by Quincy Jones. But that was it.
Yes, good memory!
There's an unreleased MJ track from 1980 called "Somewhere In Time". And yes, a movie was released in 1980 with the same title.

Not suggesting there's any correlation here but there was a less-known movie that came out in, you guessed it, 1985 called "Tomboy".

Just speculation about "Stop That".
As for contractual issues, maybe, but I doubt it. I think Tomboy was never going to make the BAD album so it was just given away. But did MJ put vocals on Tomboy?
I messaged Damien but got no response. Either he's too busy to respond or he likes knowing he's the only person to hear these songs.
I'll eventually get around to looking into this further.
