  1. Hot topic Brad Sundberg Seminars: Making Music With Michael Jackson

How low can people step while pretending to be MJ Fans? Stealing songs and hardware from close friends of Michael is utterly shameful.
  2. Which song was Michael going to sing live in This is It

We need to hear SiM and WBSS 2009! His voice was awesome during TII.
  3. Invincible album track-list

No, on the contrary. MJ took several years more than planned and did not seem very motivated for the album at all (missing recording sessions, letting others write songs instead of contributing own stuff). Seems like music just wasnt a priority to him between 1999 to 2001.
  4. Will we ever see the entire Night at the Apollo 2002 Show?

Never heard about the Budweiser concert. What kind of event was it and which songs did MJ perform?
  5. Are there still some so called “ hidden gems” left in the vault?

Pretty sure we have zero confirmation that Baszouille exists. Also, its 'McKellar' ;)
  6. Thriller 40th Anniversary - Songs Discussion

Theres no such thing as a "spot". Theres more than enough space on the CD to keep Carousel and just add stuff like Niteline and Hot Street. I like to have all Thriller era tracks in one place :)
  7. Thriller 40th Anniversary - Songs Discussion

I think some people mentioned that Sony is the one wanting to put out releases, while the Estate keeps on blocking.
  8. Exclusive Q&A With Stuart Backerman

Any more info about this QA? Who is Stuart, what did he do, when did he work for MJ etc?
  9. Are there other Ver. of Bad (25) Songs?

Probably because the Estate and Quincy still are on bad terms.
  10. What were the most coveted songs in the vault prior to Michael's death?

Price of Fame and AlCapone were considered holy grails prior to Bad25 :) They were completely unleaked and people were discussing wheter AlCapone was a Demo for SC.
  11. Why was everything out of place/wrong with Invincible?

Having them as a special version (like on the single of IJCSLY 2012) is nice. But on the album I also often find them annoying (esp YRMW). But there are exceptions: I love the intro to Meatloafs You Took the Words Right Out Of My Mouth.
  12. Thriller 40th Anniversary

Maybe Apocalypse Know is like a demo for They Dont Really Care About Us?
  13. Thriller 40th Anniversary - Songs Discussion

So, I'm probably the last one here, but finally managed to watch both 4k videos and listen to CD2 . :) Where's my Late to the Party award? Beat It and Thriller in 4K are awesome and look so fresh! I'm impressed by the zombies still looking really good and scary in high resolution. Also: The Beat...
  14. Thriller 40th Anniversary

Thats my fear as well. I think every album needs like a definitive edition re release with the best possible audio sound and a comprehensive collection of demos.
  15. Behind The Mask Thriller 40 Discuss

Someone mentioned that Quincy, who possibly worked on the latest version on this song during the original thriller sessions, may still have beef with the Estate, resulting in the withholding of alls songs he contributed to.
  16. Best of Joy - Original Version

Yeah. If the dangerous tour sounds were removed, then McClains version of BtM would be my ultimate Version!
  17. Let's end the confusion about MJ's unreleased tracks here

Why are you tagging Alwaysthere here? Most of the times he states his posts either as opinion or posts sources. I think the problem lies elsewhere...
  18. Why was everything out of place/wrong with Invincible?

Still too much fat for me ;) for me, most Invincible outtakes are much stronger than half of the stuff on the album.
  19. The Estate are refusing to promote Thriller 40

May very well be the case! Does anybody know if Estate and Quincy still are having legal troubles? For future Thriller and Bad anniversaries this obviously would be huge obstacle. And mega frustrating for us fans.
  20. Why was everything out of place/wrong with Invincible?

I think I get what Brad means. On all albums prior to Invinclible you could feel the passion of everyone involved. You can hear the musicians (including MJ) having fun creating the album. They sound organic, alive. Invincible though feels static, synthetic, artificial.
