And titles from the Bad sessions keep popping up still.
Jesus, just give us a complete boxset of Bad in the style of the Sign O The Times one and don't discard them even if they're incomplete.
I think this magazine might be wrong. I remember comparing the official VEVO video of TPH to every single footage of the song in 84 we have and none of them were a match.
This is an argument I've been hearing for a long time, but let's put it in perspective.
There are no "kids" anymore. Prince is 26, Paris is 25 and both of them have their own "careers" already. Blanket is 21, about to graduate from college iirc. If the Estate decided to save a bit of what they...
I'd say that after the J5 years, Triumph is probably the truest and rawest showcase of MJ as a live performer since all his solo tours had him struggling vocally after years on the road and being more of a spectacle, really gimmicky. Triumph is the middle ground: the band was the tighest, OTW...
Bad 25 was cohesive in a sense of trying to find a middle ground between impact, recording of the album and videos and paint a picture of MJs life and career at that point. I'd make some different choices there myself, but it works as is.
The truth is that we couldn't care less about...
Hope I don't drift apart, but I wonder why they couldn't do (for Bad 25) an alternate mix with Jimmy Smith's solo from the video mix. It's been left unused since and sadly we don't have the full session.
Nope. I'm all in for leaks to be officially released so we can have them in "proper quality". I'd have loved Hot Street and Nite Line to be on T40 rather than Can't Get Outta the Rain and Sunset Driver. Release leaks, don't recycle stuff that has been released already.
Stories In The Room is...
I'm not being pessimistic about the musical, personally. I don't mind it at all.
What I'm addressing is the fact that there are no worldwide projects at the moment, which leaves us down here left aside. Even the freaking special screenings of T40 last year which happened in various places...
Some "business decisions" don't make sense. Screw the damn musical, more than half the fandom aren't in the US neither can afford to go watch it.
Once again I say this, where do Asian and South American fans be in this mess? It's outrageous.
