"King of Love and Fire"

Today, I'd like to highlight a day in MJ's HIStory
that showcased what a BIG Humanitarian
Michael really was.
We zip back to February in 1992
to West Africa.

"Welcome Home Michael"
read the sign carried by the children of the town to welcome
Michael Jackson to their 'gold mining' village
located in West Africa.

Before hitting off on the Dangerous World tour in June of 1992,
Michael first travelled to this village in West Africa where
he was crowned "King of Sani"
by tribal chief Amon N'Djafolk of the "Agni tribe".

As two girls fanned the singer, he was wrapped
in a heavy purple robe, shod with sandals and crowned
with a black-and-gold hat. A gold chain and a scarlet staff topped
by a golden elephant completed the outfit.

While in the African continent, Michael travelled about
30,000 miles in 11 days though his excursions include mainly
hospitals, orphanages, schools, churches and institutions for
mentally retarded children.

Visiting Owendo's Pediatre Hospital in Libreville,
MJ cuddled the 'tiny tots' donating his time and money to
the sick and deprived children.

Of course, this #HIStoryFact isn't 'splattered' all over the media
simply cause it offers a glimpse of Hope to the less fortunate
who are in awe that a 'Hollywood' star takes time out
to 'meet and greet' them.

That is why I thought this mere 'good deed' from this
humble man named Michael Jackson
'deserved' a Blog and so a spot in #MJJChistory.
