Re: Any Believers in Jesus Christ Here? (Non-debate thread for believers only)

I believe in Jesus Christ, yes! I'm Catholic. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. The best example to be followed that the Father gave to the world. The true example of life and love... there's no greater proof of love than giving your own life for your brothers. I'm happy for having found this thread here!
Talking about Whitney, I think you would love to hear The Preacher's Wife soundtrack. She recorded some of the best Christian songs I've ever heard for this album.

President Ronald Reagan Tribute: Rare Footage of Him Speaking the Gospel

President Ronald Reagan was a man after God's own heart. The job of our nation's president
is no easy feat and he knew that God was guiding him the entire way. This is possibly the most
profound and inspiring video tribute to President Reagan that you will ever see!

"My experience in this office I hold is only deep into the belief I've held for many years.
Within the covers of that single Book are all the answers to all the problems that face us
today, if we'd only read and believe."
~ Ronald Reagan

2 Chronicles 7:14

New International Version (NIV)

14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

"I believe in the Bible and I try to follow the Bible. I know I'm an imperfect person, I'm not making myself out to be an angel. Because I'm not an angel & I'm not a devil either. I try to be the best I can and I try to do what I think is right. It's that simple." ~MJ

I'm starting a book called "The way of the pilgrim".

I heard it's pretty good.

Re: Any Believers in Jesus Christ Here? (Non-debate thread for believers only)

Hello brothers and sisters!

Yesterday I was walking out. I figured out once again how beautiful Fall is. So much colors, so beautiful. Today has been very nice day also, somehow it feels so easy to smile to all people. :) So I smile here even if you can't see it now - but someday, you'll see. And then we smile together. :)

I suddenly remembered this forum and this topic. I just wanted to stop by to say hello and God bless you!

Re: Any Believers in Jesus Christ Here? (Non-debate thread for believers only)

just want to ask

how is Jesus a lord

and he was born by a woman

i.e he was a human ???????

so how he is a god in the same time ??????

plz enlighten me

thanxxxxxxxxxxx

Jesus was Incarnate

Incarnation literally means embodied in flesh or taking on flesh. It refers to the conception and birth of a sentient creature (a human) who is the material manifestation of an entity, god or force whose original nature is immaterial. In its religious context the word is used to mean the descent from Heaven of a god, or divine being in human form on Earth.

This belief is based on understanding of scripture. From Past prophecy of his coming to the fact Jesusdid come fullfilled this prophecy 100's of years later. We learn this throufh old testiment propecy of his coming and through Jesus own words and the words of the Apostles who followed him.

God first came to us "in the flesh" as a little vunerable little Baby

God speaks things into existence.
(Let there be light) was the begining of creation and also refers to Jesus who would become the light of the world

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

6There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

9That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 15John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. 16And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. 17For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. 18No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
