Hey guys!!!
I live in Barcelona and I am going to London in a week, because my concert was the 23th of september :(

I going to meet another member of MJJ Community there (Hey Jackie!!!) who also does not live in London. We were wondering if anyone knows if there are places Michael was during his last time in London.

Where he stay (house, hotel)?
Where he visit?
Where did he ate?
Anything!

When we meet we wanna go visit places were Michael was and if you have pictures of him in this places it would be great!

Thank you so much guys!
And if anyone here want to meet with us there just PM me :D

PD: Sorry for my english!:mello:

hI pg - hope you both enjoy yourselves, even if circumstances of your trip have sadly changed.....but lets not dwell on that. I'm sure you both want to pay tribute to Michael and see where he hung out,etc

He stayed at The Lanesborough Hotel in March this year.
He also stayed here a few times at the Carlton Towers http://www.jumeirah.com/en/Hotels-and-Resorts/Destinations/London/Jumeirah-Carlton-Tower/
which is in Knightsbridge, while you are there you can also take in a trip to Harrods which was one of Michael's favourite places http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhTtLj9cW8c.He also stayed at The Dorchester and Intercontinental hotels on Park Lane, which you can walk or get a bus to from Knightsbridge.

You can go to the O2 if you want to write on the message boards there or leave a tribute, as far as I am aware they were still up last week when my sister went.

I think he went to Hamleys toy shop too, when he was here in March (Regents Street) and went to Theatre Royal Drury Lane to watch "Oliver" with his children http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaySeuUQUYM

All these places are in Central London and easy to find, a lot are within walking distance of each other - the o2 is a bit of a trek but worth going to.

If you can though, I would advise you to see "Thriller Live". You may be able to get return tickets at the box office or you can try here http://www.tkts.co.uk/.

These are places you can go if you want to pay, London Zoo, Madame Tussauds.

Enjoy yourselves x

Thank you sooooooo mush Susie!!!!
This is more tha enough!!!

Thanks for all these links they will come in handy for my visit to London at the beginning of Nov :)

Remember the MJ memrobilia exhibition is on at the 02 arena from the 28th Oct so definitely head there. As someone said its a bit of a trek but ridiculously easy to get to. All you need to do is get on the Jubilee line and head eastbound. Get off at North Greenwich and you're right at the O2.

There's obviously the O2. Michael announced the date at the press conference in front of the arena entrance, in the middle of the O2 complex (you'll see it; a blue sign with The O2 Arena written on. You stand where he stood (check by seeing some of the zoomed out photos). Maybe you could catch a concert there if you want to (you can buy tickets at the box office by the O2 entrance); there's also a smaller venue, Indigo2 with concerts on.. There's the official MJ exhibition at The O2 Bubble, which covers his life right up to This Is It (hopefully they should show costumes, Neverland stuff etc.) Tickets can be brought online or from the O2. There are lots of cafes, bars and restaurants running around the outside plus a cinema if there are any films you want to see (unfortuantely This Is It will have finished by then).

He stayed at the grandest hotels when visiting, most recently the Lanesbrouhh

Thanks for this info I wondered where in the o2 he did the conference :)

Ok, I'm making plans for a trip to London with some other people from here as well.
But now I am making a timetable...like...which day we're gonna do what....and I was wondering:

How many hours do I need to take in count for Harrods? 2? 3? 4?

And for the Official Exhibition?

How long does the Thriller Live show take?

Thanks in advance! ;D

I know that you want about 2 or 3 hours for Harrods, and dunno bout the other 2, never been to them.

I could spend a day in Harrods ) Just got back from the o2 and visited the Michael Shop its not very big., and a bit pricy but worth going in to look at the walls! You will understand what I mean.

I o2 is Michael everything at the moment, they currently have a peter pan show on so onthe floor around the whole arena there are stickers that say "this way to neverland"

Hi - hope you have a good time - I posted some links that might be of interest to you.

Thriller Live evening showings begin at 7.30 and finish at around 10.30 with a 25 minute interval - there is a TKTS booth in Leicester Square where you can pick up heavily discounted tickets tickets on the day
http://www.tkts.co.uk/tkts-leicester-square/

Leave a few hours for Harrods as its a big place to get around (theres a link in here for Harrods - early post) there is the Official Opus store in Covent Garden where you can have a look through the MJ Opus.

Other places that you may want to visit would be Madame Tussauds to see Michael's waxwork and to the O2 arena for the Michael Jackson Exhibition - you select the best time to go and buy tickets for that time, I don't think there is a time limit for how long you spend there, but go to the MJ Exhibition shop when you come out (bring plenty of cash!!!).

This is about the O2 Exhibition and tells you how to get there, order tickets etc
http://www.theo2.co.uk/general/michael-jackson-the-official-exhibition.html

This is about tickets for Madame Tussauds, there are some good offers available online.

Hope this information helps you plan your trip - if you want any more information PM me - Have a good time x
