plz tell about watch Stranger Things 2 on this linkLuke Skywalker sums up the entire film in one line:

Hooooollllly SHIT that was TERRIBLE. The whole film and it's pacing was all over the place, the characters were poorly developed with some of the most horrendous dialogue I've heard for some time... and excluding Jim Parsons, the voice acting was average at best. The animation was utterly abysmal, even for a TV film. Quite literally the rabbit in Speed Demon, which was HAND ANIMATED and didn't have the benefit of motion capture, danced better than the characters in this film. This is an utter embarrassment to the Michael Jackson brand.
They could barely even get the music right! The music was often ill-fitting of the scene (even the 'mood' worked, the speed of the piece often conflicted withe pacing of the scene), it was appallingly edited with it coming in and out at random points. I'll give it credit for the original mash-ups that we briefly heard. They were cool and it would've been nice to see them on the Scream album, maybe on Disc 2, but that's honestly the only good thing I have to say about this film.
It was a good thing they released this the same day as Stranger Things. This isn't something you want people to see.

Hooooollllly SHIT that was TERRIBLE. The whole film and it's pacing was all over the place, the characters were poorly developed with some of the most horrendous dialogue I've heard for some time... and excluding Jim Parsons, who was good and felt genuine, the voice acting was average at best. The animation was utterly abysmal, even for a TV film. Quite literally the rabbit in Speed Demon, which was HAND ANIMATED and didn't have the benefit of motion capture, danced better than the characters in this film.

Are you the guy who said "it's shit", before you even watched it?
Excuse me if I ignore the poor review you probably searched high and low for (just because it matched your biased pre conceptions), whilst I read the many, many positive reviews from people who waited.
Edit.
Just realised it's YOUR review.
Says it all really.
I like the idea of using animation for MJ and I would like to see something done on a more adult level.
I've seen it, and I loved it. Mind you, I wasn't continually going on about Pixar movies beforehand, and expecting the same outcome.
You said the animated dance routines were "shit" from a one second dance clip that was shown. Then tried to back track a little when your 'over the top' reaction was questioned.
The negative comments can be, on most occasions, traced back to people who were negative about it beforehand - yours included.
Your 'review' will always be tainted (in my view), by your seeming unwillingness to give the film a chance before it was released, and your "it's shit" comment about a one second dance clip.
But honestly if the story and characters etc are great, then perhaps it can be overlooked and it'll do it's job and gain MJ some new young fans.
Granted you only see dancing for a handful of seconds, which is why like everything else I'm going to leave my final reservations until I see a copy of the film (hopefully in high definition) given the shortness of the teaser.
Once again I can't properly judge because I've only seen short snippets so I'm going to reserve my proper judgement until I see the film (or at least, a dance sequence for this particular thing).
I like they're trying new(ish) angles to gain a new audience of fans. There's a show on Netflix called The Beat Bugs, which is apparently rather popular with young kids. It's a show based on the music of The Beatles, often the cast and celebrities come in to sing covers of The Beatles songs, and from what I've read on various social media, many parents have said it's a great way to introduce young children to The Beatles music. This too seems like a great opportunity to introduce young kids to the music of Michael Jackson. It's obviously not targeted at me, but sure I'll check it out. Here's hoping it's great for all ages, like a classic Pixar film!
It has many positive comments from people, old and young, and has an 83% positive rating from Google users.
I'm not overly sensitive. I'm just not a mug who gets conned by people with agendas or biases. I like to speak up when I see someone I think is 'trying it on'.
