^Is that tape I see on Jermaine's fingers?

Poor Jermaine! He'll probably go to his grave STILL wishing he was The One AND Only Michael Jackson.

Must be hard for him to think about the fact that he will NEVER achieve what his little brother did and how he wasted all of those years waiting for Michael to join them on stage again, when he could have been out there carving out a little nitch for himself years ago.

Hold up!

Yesterday, I saw a clip of Jermaine and the brothers in Brooklyn during their free performance, and Jermaine has the NERVE, THE NERVE, to be standing on the stairs saying to the audience: "Can I come down there?" Just like Michael would do during his performances sometimes.

The man apparently does not have an original bone in his body. Poor thing!

So that I remain on topic, let me just add: they signed that letter, "kidnapped" their mother, went on television and looked like a bunch of fools. I think they have all lost their minds! Oh and I'm still waiting for one of them to produce the evidence they have been SCREAMING about since day 1. Where's the beef? LOL!

Oh my dear god the man lives in his own delusional world  seriously jermaine GET OVER IT!

Re: Michael's mom reported missing /TJ temp Guardianship/Grandma's Home

About the estate paying for the coop, didn't Katherine request more money so she could pay for that Las vegas coop and the house in Gary, and the estate already said they would ask the court, so this news from TMZ is late. At the time the estate said they were going to suggest that she gets it. We already knew this from some thread in here. TMZ is simply reporting more information in that it is Janet's coop.
I remember some years ago, might even be in the PHM done by Michael, that there was someone else living in the Gary house, some distant relative maybe? I took it that the house wasn't in the Family's possession any more.

May I remind you of the fact that The Jackson brothers worked their asses off for 26 years. We have an expression in Holland: When you work double as hard or under severe/heavy conditions, the working years count for two (tropic years)...I think I would be 'lazy' too after working that hard from a young age, without the freedom to go wherever or do whatever I please (like a normal teenager).
The Jackson brothers didn't work "their asses off" for 26 years. They started in what, 1968, and with the Victory tour they were done, which would make it 16 years at most.
Michael on the other hand worked really hard for almost 40 years. Now count that one double and you'll get 80 years. I'd say not bad for someone who only lived to be 50!

They worked in young age is their parents fault but it doesn't excuse them to leech off their brother in adult life. Michael Jackson also worked since he was 5 and he worked much harder than any other siblings. When his brothers went play, michael was studying from the masters, planning the shows, negotiating their contract. he was literally died because his mind was always on perfect his tour and he couldn't rest. He worked his ass off until the day he died. That's why he had the fortune left for his children and charities. He built his legacy through hard work, sweats and tears. Most People in this world have to work everyday (some have to work two jobs) to pay their houses, cars and child supports. That's called "work your ass off" being a responsible adult. Most of the Jacksons had filed for bankruptcy in certain point of their life, jermaine and randy can't even pay their child support. When the 60 something old jermaine jackson still said their jackson family philosophy is the lioness always take care of the cubs, in other words, we leech off our brother Michael through Katherine, it's the straight up laziness and craziness to me. Every words I wrote in this forum, I can say to the jacksons face.

The Gary, Indiana house is probably tied in within this Article, why the ownership of the home in Katherine's name, a tourist attraction, income generated for Katherine and possibly to be passed down to Prince, Paris, and Blanket?

Michael Jackson’s mom, kids plan return to Gary for his birthday

Michael Jackson’s family is returning home for a series of events marking the King of Pop’s 54th birthday.

An announcement at facebook.com/jacksonstreet2012 promised the Jackson children, Paris, Prince and Blanket, would return with their grandmother, Katherine Jackson.

The family made news recently when the children became embroiled in a guardianship dispute between family members.

The Gary celebration, dubbed “Goin’ Back to Indiana: Can You Feel It?,” includes a 5 p.m. Aug. 29 candlelight vigil outside the family’s home at 2300 Jackson St. on Jackson’s birthday. Plans call for a party at 7 p.m. at the Majestic Star Casino & Hotel Lakeshore Lounge.

On Aug. 30, the family will attend a 6 p.m. Gary SouthShore RailCats baseball game. On Aug. 31, at 3 p.m., there’s a meet-and-greet reception hosted by Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson presented by the Gary Chamber of Commerce at Majestic Star Casino.

There are two tribute concerts planned at West Side High School by the West Side Theatre Guild on Sept. 1..

Re: Michael's mom reported missing /TJ temp Guardianship/Grandma's Home

Let me get this straight...When he was a youngster, Michael wasn't allowed to celebrate his birthday, but now that he is dead, his mother is pulling all the stops & charging people to help celebrate his date of birth?

What a backward way of thinking...?

Then again, the Jacksons don't do anything like anyone else.

Actually, that one I can answer from personal experience. I have close relatives by marriage who converted to Jehovah Witnesses some 20 years ago. When they were neophytes, they were quite serious about following all rules by the book, to the extent that we almost lost them. With time and age, they softened a lot. They do wish us and our daughter (their granddaughter) happy birthdays. They do say thanks when we tell them that we remember their birthdays although they don't celebrate them.

I do not see it as a hypocrisy. I see it as a respect towards other people's believes and traditions.

When Michael was a young boy, Katherine was a neophyte. I recall that according the Jermaine's book, she converted around his 6th birthday, when Michael was a baby. Yes, people change and soften with age. That does not make everything they do negative.

That's all well and good, but do they CHARGE for any of the above.

That seems to be the defining character when dealing with any Jackson sponsored event.

If they couldn't find a way to CHARGE, I'm sure there would be no birthday celebration for Michael Jackson.

Whether they be practicing Witnesses or not, the bottomline for them is "HOW MUCH CAN WE CHARGE."

Just my opinion, of course.

More clarification about Janet's Las Vegas Condo:

Katherine Jackson Wants Estate to Pay for TP Not Janet's Mortgage
0816-katherine-jackson-2.jpg

We have more info on Katherine Jackson's request for the Michael Jackson Estate to pay for expenses related to Janet Jackson's Las Vegas home, and it turns out toilet paper -- NOT mortgages -- is on her mind.

As we previously reported, the Estate filed documents asking the court to allow the Executors to pay Katherine for "expenses relating to .... a residence in Las Vegas."

We're told the residence is Janet Jackson's home. Fact is ... there's no need to cover any mortgage expenses, because we're told Janet doesn't have a mortgage -- she owns the home outright, but never spends time there. In fact, we're told she bought the home so Katherine could use it. And, she has provided various other forms of support for Katherine over the years. So what we reported initially -- that the Estate would pay part of the mortgage -- isn't the case.

Sources connected to Katherine now tell us, Katherine wants the money because she incurs various expenses when she spends time at Janet's property. Our sources say the expenses include, food, cable, utilities, Internet, travel and even toilet paper.

It's unclear why Katherine feels she's entitled to more money for things like food and toilet paper, because what she consumes and uses in Vegas she doesn't in L.A.

Just Mrs. J squeezing the Estate for more money. This request came before the Granny Snatching. I wonder if she still feels the need to pay her cubs out of her allowence?

I grew up as a jehovas witness (I left as a young adult - my mom is now a Catholic), in a family where some were and some weren't. We celebrated Christmas and birthdays... and I know of a few other jw members who did as well. However we did not view Christmas as a religious celebration, but simply as a fun family night. Not everyone is as strict as you'd think they are - and in my experience it even depends on where you live sometimes and what the local members/elders are like.

I agree with you... I really don't want to judge someone I don't know, but if someone in my family or just someone I loved passed away, there is no way that I would try to come up with ways to make money from it.

I'd like to add one more thing, and that's Spike Lee's Annual Celebration.

I have been with friends and family and had a ball, FREE OF CHARGE.

I'm sure Spike has some out of pocket expenses, because aside from the NYPD, Spike has his own security and various other staff out on the scene working the crowd and making sure everything runs smoothly. All paid by Spike Lee, I'm sure.

So it can be done, FOR FREE, IF your heart is in the right place.

One thing seems pretty clear though, Janet's team seems to have Harvey Levin and his website scared of her!

If I was a millionairess (and even if I wasn't) I would be mortified to think that my aged mother should feel the need to have to pay towards the upkeep of staying there. It's a damned disgrace.

What various forms of support she has provided over the years?
I find it odd that if K used that condo before Michael died, I believe Michael didn't pay (he didn't pay Havenhurst either as it was just days for foreclosure when MJ died) any cable, food utilities etc for Katherine while she stayed in LV, so why would Janet stop paying those bills and Katherine asks the estate to pay for them?
One scenario could be that Katherine introduces new expenditure to estate and ask them to pay, and then she somehow funnel that money to some of the cubs. I cannot believe Janet being so cheap that she makes her mother to pay cable and toilet paper, unless she really is that broke:)

"Katherine is also asking for additional $34,700 per month to pay for her accountant and lawyers as well as to cover the expenses of family house in Gary Indiana and as.residence in Las Vegas Estate is asking the judge to allow this onetime payment and monthly increase."

I wonder how much of that 34,700 is for LV condo?

Made me laugh out loud. Janet didn't want everybody to think that she is broke and Michael's estate needs to pay her mortgage, but the newer version is even worse, she is so broke that she cannot pay her mother's toilet paper:)

[h=2]Janet’s Condo for her Mom: The Truth Revealed[/h]By ANTOINETTE BUENO

August 16, 2012
Janet Jackson's lawyer is defending her regarding a report claiming that the Estate of Michael Jackson filed documents in the probate court requesting that the estate be permitted to "foot a portion of the bill on Janet's mortgage on her posh Las Vegas condo."
According to her lawyer Blair Brown, Janet's Las Vegas home has never even had a mortgage, and she purchased the home outright 10 years ago for her mother Katherine Jackson's use. Furthermore, Janet has "provided financial support unconditionally to her mother before and after Michael's death and will continue to do so," her representative states.

Brown says that any implication that Jackson has demanded any payments from the estate, or needs payments from the estate, are "false and outrageous."
"She is a successful artist and very high net worth individual who has never had financial problems. She has no need for any such payments from the estate," Brown states.

The Jackson family recently made headlines for their ongoing dispute over the validity of Michael Jackson's will -- which leaves everything in the pop star's lucrative estate to Katherine and his children. Five of Michael's siblings recently claimed that Michael's will was fake and they have demanded that the executors of his estate should resign.

I wonder if Mother is "trying" to set that Las Vegas crib up for somebody else to live in. I mean, why would she need all of that stuff, if and when she gets a chance to go there it can't be for more than a few days, i.e. a weekend or a long weekend. I can't see her staying for weeks or even a straight month.

Who is Mother trying to set up now?

It would not surprise me if Janet never asked her mother for compensation for staying at the Las Vegas condo. More likely than not Mrs Jackson is just padding her monthly expenses from the Estate. Mrs. Jackson has tried from the start, to get more money than she needs from the Estate. This was a request made before the Granny Snatch, I wonder if she still wants to cover her grown children and grand-children's expenses. Trying to provide an upper-middle class lifestyle to all those adults would be very expensive. I have no idea what her Grandchildren do for a living, but maybe..........

Oh please now who believes this one. If we go back we will see that Katherine asked for thousands more which the estate said they will tell the court to approve. Thousands is too much to pay for such small expenses, unless food, toilet paper, etc, comes from another planet. As usual this is either damage control or Katherine is asking for money that will be diverted. She clearly stated that she needed the money for the Gary and Vegas homes.
