^^^^ I agree. Twitter has been the major problem re/the trolls and haters. What I don't understand is that other members of the family--uncles, aunts, cousins--have Twitter accounts and could see what was happening. It's that "takes a village" to raise a child mentality that seems to be missing in the Jackson family, or the adults are too intimidated or distracted to parent.

At least now they will make those changes & shut down the accounts ( the docs likely recommended it), which is a very good thing for Paris and her brothers. Next, they need to address the bullying at Buckley.

Only this behavior shows that they did not care. In fact, I think they never looked at it closely and realize that something was wrong there. Only fans saw what was happening. Depressing this family. *big sigh*

She doesn't need all the adulation and millions of people following her to know her self worth. That was a huge distraction keeping her from facing her problems and dealing with her grief in a healthy way. She doesn't need fans to hinder her recovery. She needs to find her self esteem from within herself and from those actually in her life who can love, nurture and help her. Of course this is going to be a huge disapointment to all the sites that exploited her and posted all her private info, pics and videos for their own self benefit. What will they do now. with out all their Paris worship .. that was way too much for this child to grasp or handle. Many of her so called fans will probably start following fake Paris accounts now so they can continue making themselves feel important. They will spread it that Paris has a secret account now Bla bla bla ... These people are not her friends nor do these websites help her well being in any way. Paris doesn't need to be a celebrity .. Prince does fine as he takes it or leaves it but paris was addicted to all the fame and internet / media attention because it eased her pain in some ways, but its certainly wasn't healthy for her healing and well being. It wasn't her fault. I think removing her from these sites is a step in the right direction. Later when she ready and able to understand her self worth isn't tied to so called fans and strangers on the internet she may come back to interact in a more healthy way. I hope not any time soon.

^^^ I agree with everything you've said. Paris needs to find out who she is apart from her celebrity--stay away from social media sites--and build her self esteem, based on her real life and not a "faux" life online.

Part of the challenge I see for her is that she can't do that independent of her guardian & living situation and those dynamics are troubling. Someone here made the point that Katherine's parenting style is more like a stage "manager" and she's parenting Michael's kids as she did her own. Paris seems to need a lot more nurturing & unconditional love right now--who will give her that? Hopefully, her therapy away from the family is for a long enough time that she gets her equilibrium back. I trust she's in good hands and they will know what to do. Maybe they'll work with Katherine, too? I just don't know how the psychiatrists create a nurturing environment at home for her, which is so important for her long-term recovery.

The familyhad no problem with them using twitter as especially in paris case it gave her "celebrity" profile a huge boost which helped the family get more attention and publicity when they used the kids to promote something. we saw tajs slack attitude when asked about it. the family encouraged it or certainly didnt care ad it helped them but now its bitten them on the ass.

abd imo this is only one of many things that has caused where we are now. of vourse the elephant in the room will always be ignored by the media and the family

Good luck getting her off social media. It is a normal everyday part of teenage (and every other age group) life these days. The best we can hope for is that she has better privacy settings etc, but I can't see her deleting all social media.

The first year or so Genevieve tweeted Paris many times to rise above the hate and ignorere the haters, dont pay them attention. So did Cayla (Trents daughter) and she also cussed out several of Paris bullies so Im sure the family knew people were really mean.

I mean she said on Oprah she is being cyberbullied and she has tweeted many times about the bullies on her page.

I still remember when one idiot sent Paris the picture of MJs lifeless body on the gurney (the pic that was shown in court). A fan told Paris "not to let it get to her" but Paris replied something along "I think it already did".

I know someone on another board tried to befriend her on FB but Paris has a setting that everytime someones tries to add her a box pops up where it states a warning ie that are you sure that you know this person/you can get blocked if you dont know her personally or whatever it was. Cant remember the exact warning but she has some kind of setting everytime someone tries to add her.

I remember on another forum when we all saw Paris getting cruel haters--Prince too--and we thought, surely the family will pull the plug on this Twitter account or at least protect her tweets so that only her school friends & family could communicate with her. So, why is it the fans knew and even members of the family knew and nothing was done? smh

Paris Jackson will be spared the pain of testifying in an ongoing court battle over her father's death.

Michael Jackson's teenage daughter expected to be among the witnesses called as part of a legal battle between the superstar's family and executives at AEG Live, the concert promotion company behind Jackson's doomed London comeback concerts.

The 15 year old was recently hospitalized after a suicide attempt, and now lawyer Deborah Chang has confirmed Paris will not be forced to testify. Speaking during proceedings at Los Angeles Superior Court, she told the judge, "Paris is not going to be testifying."

The revelation comes just a day after Paris' elder brother Prince took the stand and told the court his sister has struggled to cope following their father's death in 2009.

Prince, 16, said, "Out of all my siblings, she was probably hit the hardest because she was my dad's princess. It really hurt her a lot. She definitely is dealing with it in her own way."

He added of his own grief, "Nothing will ever be the same. I can't sleep at night. I have a hard time sleeping. For a while after he died, I became emotionally distant from a lot of people."

Because I've her as friend on my facebook. I wasn't the one saying she only has friends there and that it's private. I asked someone who isn't a friend on her fb to check what he sees and he said you can see some of her posts without being a friend. One comment on one of her photos is that she looks like a pornstar and what that person wanted to do with her..

Her username on fb, the end you have after the .com/ is very telling too of her state of mind.

How could anyone be so mean to a child? It's kind of emotional torture, why do something so cold? I don't understand how people can rejoice at the expense of other's pain.

I read about people being mean to her on her twitter and I think that's a factor on her current situation but I also think the Jacksons are the other factor. I read comments here blaming the paparazzi, do you know if she ever complaint about them?

I know that she's going thru difficult times now, and I believe the love and memories of her dad will give her the strength she needs to recover and to blossom.

And people still wonder why Michael made it his children wear masks and other things when out in public...To spare them of the stupidity of people. I feel so sorry for Paris, after learning what's really bothering her, she misses her father, and I don't know if it's something she's able to get used to. Prince is a young man now, it's easier for him to cope, but like he said she was her daddy's princess, and I don't think anyone loved her as much as he did. And now she can't experience that love from the one that matters everyday. I hope the best for her.
