Just a similar theme is all. There are lots of songs with the same theme. Within his own music Michael has similar themes. How many times has he sung about "dangerous" women.

yeah, but i think the original poster was referring to someone else using an MJ theme, not the carter brothers repeating a theme that they themselves used before...

and i have to say, except for the fact that this song has a rock feel to it (could be in response to the critics considering 'tgim' as lame, musically) this carter song follows the exact same progression as tgim, including the vocal calestinics (sp) and tradeoffs on 'me' like it was on 'mine' with tgim
