Aaaand here come the slew of fake leaks. I knew it'd happen someday...Someone on the Hoffman forum claims that this could possibly be the tracklist for disc 2. I hope this is just a fake screenschot...

Like everybody who is under 30! Young people are always 'on the go', they don't have time to sit down and watch a high quality film on big screen.I mean compressed 480p on YouTube doesn't still looking good on a phone. And who is watching Michael's short films on a phone ;D
No, it just means you are a fan. Don't worry you are not a geniusThere are no individual letters clearly identifiable yet I'm perfectly capable of reading the words on that screenshot. Does this mean I am a genius?
Yeah I did but they blocked it so I can only do a mega dlI think you've shared a bit on YouTube, right?
Only if they do it the correct way. But what if they're gonna apply extreme DNR?his work in quality the future generations can enjoy forever
The same folks who go to a concert and film it on their phone to upload the footage on Youtube/TikTok. With shaky video, muddy sound, and if the concert is outdoors - wind noise.I mean compressed 480p on YouTube doesn't still looking good on a phone. And who is watching Michael's short films on a phone ;D
They managed to do Wizard Of Oz (1930s) in 4K. Anything is possible when money is involved.oh sorry didn't see it
Can't be Billie Jean, 4k isn't possible with 16mm
1080p is fine though
Motown 25 is tape 100%
Clearly fake lol, for starters they said they were gonna release songs that were never released before.Someone on the Hoffman forum claims that this could possibly be the tracklist for disc 2. I hope this is just a fake screenschot...
They were able to do that because WOO was filmed on 35 mm film. They managed to do Wizard Of Oz (1930s) in 4K. Anything is possible when money is involved.
Now that you mention WBSS 2008 I remember how I wished he rerecorded the album again with modern production and new vocals.
Similar to what Taylor Swift did to one of her albums (Red?)
Except you're wrongThey managed to do Wizard Of Oz (1930s) in 4K. Anything is possible when money is involved.
And you're correctThey were able to do that because WOO was filmed on 35 mm film.
Yep. Eminem did this with his anniversary remasteted videos. When the 4K videos are released on youtube - is it by any chance possible to chnage the current low-quality version with the 4K version to not loose the views?
Or will they have to upload them as totally new videos and then the views will start from 0 ?
Like with The Beatles - Get Back documentaryOnly if they do it the correct way. But what if they're gonna apply extreme DNR?
Spike Lee’s documentaries for Bad and Off The Wall were very underwhelming so I hope he stays as far as he can from the Thriller Documentary.Would be nice if theyd ask spike lee to make a proper thriller era documentary..
If they remove the grain, it will be like taking a dump on a wedding cake. Let's just hope they know what they are doing...Only if they do it the correct way. But what if they're gonna apply extreme DNR?
True, but Thriller 25 (as a project) was cap. Full of cap!It is even worse than the Michael album 0-0......I don't mind that they reused the old cover art, but the new logo sucks. Thriller 25's logo was much better.
what about Carousel and Got The Hots? And there were no unrelesead songs recorded during the Thriller
Carousel was already relesead on the 2001 special edition.what about Carousel and Got The Hots?
also, no project can be worse than Michael
Other than 3 songs there's nothing worth keeping in there
However, the 2001 version is a short edit.Carousel was already relesead on the 2001 special edition.
And why not give someone else another shot if there is another documentary. I don't see why it always has to be Spike Lee behind them. And what stories can be said about Thriller that we haven't heard before? Like the story of how Rod Temperton wrote the rap for the title track at the last moment on his way to the studio. Or the story of how Bruce Swedian did around 100 mixes of Billie Jean only for Michael to choose the 2nd mix or made. Or the story of how Eddie Van Halen hung up on Quincy because he didn't believe it was him.Spike Lee’s documentaries for Bad and Off The Wall were very underwhelming so I hope he stays as far as he can from the Thriller Documentary.
Or how someone knocked on the door of the studio while they were recording Beat It and they decided to keep that on the record. And why not give someone else another shot if there is another documentary. I don't see why it always has to be Spike Lee behind them. And what stories can be said about Thriller that we haven't heard before? So much as been said about Thriller that I don't know how much more could be said.
