Noirnoar posted some videos on page 163 of this thread, but I think those videos are missing some of the stuff with the kids. MsCassieMollie posted a short video with missing parts on page 165.

Here we go:

I finished watching it now. I really can not tell what was worse to watch... the interview itself or to watch the behind the scenes. :puke:

I'm still trying to understand.... Why show the behind the scenes? :wtf: Oprah is really obsessed with Michael and this is very serious. :bugeyed :sigh:

Very sad and disappointing... :( *big sigh*

Miles from ordinary...
I watched the program.
I was surprised and glad to hear Oprah speak about not making the kids uncomfortable....
staying within her "bounds" so to speak.
And also her reason for not staying in touch back in 1993.
She said that she felt it wasnt "her place" after the interview.
And the special connection between she and Mrs.J.

I agree. thats what I saw and got from this behind the scenes program. Of course Im not one to try
and seek something evil and sinister in everyone or everything surounding Michael. I try and look for
the good in people. Becuase everyone has some faults. Including myself. My motto is its best to treat
others as you would like to be treated.

It is what it is _ If someone wants to add thier own spin to it still doenst change what was put foward
at face value for everyone to see. It gave me a better insight of the original interview and how much
care went into planning this interview from both sides ..

Oprah didnt even know the children were going to be part of the interview untill she was told and seemed
genuine in her concern about not expoiting or causing the children to be uncomfortable. It was very positive
for the children to be seen in this settingand let the world see how well rounded and sweet they were.

Oprah even stopped the cameras when she seen Katherines tears.she had respect for her and it showed.
Katherine also admired Oprah, remember Oprah also come up from humble beginnings and had to prove herself.

Also Oprah wasnt their to entertain or interview all the added house guests looking for promotion and it wasnt
rude on her part not to. They were the ones intruding on the planned interview with Katherine and the children.

Now im not a big fan of Oprah by any means and disagree with her on many issues, But she is not an evil person
or a devil as some like to make her out to be. I see more lack of character in the statements used to attack her.

Some people just cant exsist unless they have someone to hate on. If is wasnt Oprah it would be someone else
and if there isnt someone else then they turn on other fans who dont agree with them.

In my very humble opinion

I like what you had to say. I'm not a huge Oprah fan either and also disagree with her on many issues. I found no fault with the interview except for her always asking about the molestation charges, which reminded me of something she said in her own interview when Barbara Walters asked her about being gay. Her reply was that she's always said no to that and the reason people keep asking is because evidently they don't believe her--well the same goes for her--the reason she keeps asking that same molestation question of Mike is evidently she doesn't believe that he's innocent; even when he's been proven innocent.

There's no need for her to keep asking that question over and over. Plus Mike's not here anymore;why keep reminding people of it.

Otherwise, I loved seeing Mike's kids--they're beautiful children and Mike did an excellent job raising them. I just hope Blanket's not so young that he will forget his father as he gets older. Things fade with time.

Just my two cents.

Exactly.

Katherine is as freakish and monstruous as the others. The hell with the pathetic little woman. The kids are in danger.

everyone has a right to their opinion but michael would not like the fact that his fans talk about his mother like this! the kids grandmother at that....

you may not like joe or katherine but if not for them then there never would have been a michael jackson at all..

I agree. I also disagree with Oprah on many issues, but I really respect a lot of the work she's done. I love her magazine (although I'm not sure that she has much direct involvement in that). I actually enjoyed a few shows that I saw on OWN. It seems like a very positive network - kind of a sanctuary from the all of the negative or just stupid shows that are on these days. And, I'm kind of disappointed that it hasn't been doing well.

I am VERY disappointed in some of the Jacksons for some of the crap they said in the past and the stuff they have said and done since MJ past! But, I still don't Hate them! The closest I ever felt hate for any of them was when La Toya accused MJ back in the day, Jermaine for that damn "word to the bad" song and Joe, for the way he treated MJ always!!

No she isn't perfect. But she didn't have to badmouth and make Michael look guilty on her shows during his trial and such influencing people. Oprah influences people. She doesn't like Michael. She wants to be friends with Katherine and that means she can more access to his children. Her and Michael didn't have to be friends but she didn't have to be so judgmental and harsh towards him when he was nothing but kind and generous to her when she interviewed. When Michael died everyone wondered why Oprah said nothing when weeks and weeks went by. I don't think she cared. Then she does a show on him and has to constantly remind everyone that is was "before the allegations". Not once, twice but at least like 3 or 4 times.

She has made it pretty obvious she thinks he was guilty. After Michael died I thought maybe she would understand better or see him better but she doesn't. To see her with his children made me cringe. I doubt that Michael would want them interviewed by Oprah and for his children to be considered a great nab for ratings. He wanted his children away from that.

What people need to remember is that Oprah herself was sexually molested as a child for many years and so as somebody who has been through that she is looking at it from the child's perspective and would always believe a child saying they were molested because (and anyone of you have been through this yourselves will understand) the worst fear of a child whose been through that is not being believed. People REALLY need to get that, and that's the position she is coming from. It's not personal to Michael for all it matters it could of been Santa Claus, it's the fact a child has said they were abused and she chooses to believe the child always because she understands that pain of not being believed.

Also alot of people on here always talk about how terribly Oprah talked about Michael during the trial on her show, this is simply not true and unlike it seems everyone else on this forum i can prove it. We have EVERY single Oprah episode consecutively from season 19 til now as they were tivoed and stored (Oprah fans in our household). Now season 19 for those that are wondering began in 2004 (premire show was the classic "you get a car! And you get a car! Everybody gets a car! moment).

From that show going all the way through 2004-2005-2006 and til this moment she only mentioned Michael a handful of times. Once with Barbra Walters in 2004 when she asked Barbara what she was thinking when Michael said to her "I'm not a *****, i'm Jackson". The 2nd time was later in 2004 when a guy in the audience said TO Oprah that money make's your life perfect "look at the Jackson's" in which Oprah responded "Wait a minute they seem like a perfect family to you?" in which the guy said "yeah" and Oprah "O.K then" and sat down and the last time prior to Michael's death that she mentioned him was when Janet came on the show in 2006 with Jermaine (Dupree).

So people you all are entitleded to your opinions but don't state events that never even took place and present them as fact. NOT ONCE did Oprah mention michael in the same sentence as abuse or molestation. Even through a period during 2006 where she was doing a series of amazing shows on capturing molesters and even again a show in 2008 about stopping child pornogrphy she never ONCE mentioned Michael or his family or affilates. Say what you want but base it on fact. You may not like her but she has done a hellover lot to put a stop to sexual abuse (all you need to do is google the "Oprah Bill" or the Senate bill 1738 which was passed just 10 days after Oprah's show aired and she asked everybody to copy and paste a letter she had already written but to put their names on it and send it to their local senators.

She's not anti Michael she's just (as we ALL should be) very anti child abuse. This doesn't even mean Oprah believes Michael did it, it's just means she won't go out and vehemently defend him because not knowing him personally she didn't/doesn't know for SURE.

I'm sorry, I didn't know MJ personally and I wasn't his friend. But I certainly know that he was INNOCENT. This is not an excuse to always ask everybody who knew him, including his own mother if they saw something strange. I know her past, that she was an abused child, and I'm so sorry for that, but that simply is not an excuse, for keep asking and asking!! He was acquitted by a jury, and the evidence has clearly demonstrated that everything was made up. It's time for her to shut up. The man is dead!!!!!

Actually, I would never call anyone a "monster" or create some sort of 'horned one' photoshops.
I appreciate Winfrey using her cloud to do good, I do.

What I don't appreciate is that literally everyone is forcing their own issues at the expense of Michael Jackson.

Being the victim of a abuse is horrendous and nobody should ever be experiencing that.

However, that does not mean that it's fair to make life hell for those who have not committed any crime whatsoever.

And one doesn't need explicit words to be hurting someone. Passive-aggressive mind games don't always require words. The message gets across anyway. And that is what members here are bemoaning and have noticed for years.
Scheduling child abuse shows in questionable timeframes seems to be a popular way to put the 'allegations' scenario from the backburner onto a higher flame in people's minds.

The members here have rightly noticed that Winfrey has a history of conveniently scheduling abuse shows around shows that deal with Michael Jackson.

It is also insidious to be using the word 'allegations' and 'charges'- because that sounds a heck of a lot different than 'vindicated and proven innocent'.
Let's face it- to many people even 'indicted' means something like 'guilt'.

Journalistic ethos would DEMAND that when mentioning 'allegations and indictment' one would also mention the final outcome of said trial- it would simply be journalistic competence to go full circle. Somehow with Michael Jackson supposed 'journalists' are suddenly proud of their own bias and incomplete, purposefully misleading build-ups- just as photographers suddenly became proud when snapping a picture of MJ became a contest of shooting the most horrendous picture ever, when normally professional pride would result from the opposite.

When it comes to MJ, that is not being done on purpose. Whenever you hear about other high profile court case you will ALWAYS hear the outcome being mentioned.

Michael Jackson was and is being abused himself- verbally and emotionally.

Everyone agrees that the victims of sexual abuse are traumatized.

What people take lightly is how traumatizing it is to be wrongly accused of horrendous crimes that one can't even fathom.
To purposefully leave out the fact that Michael Jackson was pronounced not guilty on 10 felony counts and 4 misdemeanors- that would be the full story.

While the trauma of sexual abuse is horrendous, one trauma will never justify traumatizing another because of one's own trauma.

Ever noticed how MJs name conveniently gets lumped in with OJ Simpson- just because they both happen to be black men? How come? What does MJ have in common with him? Black and male?

MJ has been abused in different ways as a child, youth AND adult. I can only fathom how debilitating and heart stopping this farce of a trial for him was.

To keep implying 'allegation, allegation, allegation' means to abuse and traumatize Michael once more.

(also, you would be surprised to what degree unprocessed trauma can make life hell for other innocent people)

People need to stop living their issues through Michael Jackson. On a side remark- in a society where we presume that 'not guity x14' would suffice even for the densest of people- Oprah Winfrey does not need to 'know' Michael Jackson personally to not be slandering and defaming somebody who is now passed on.

It is insidious and horrifying to be watching a 80+ woman who buried her child having to defend said innocent son. If people want to use the fact that Winfrey herself is a victim of sexual abuse- then people should also take into account the fact that off all people Winfrey should be the first to exhibit kindness toward a fellow mother who buried a child.

To be torturing a grieving elder person (whom I don't consider to be an innocent angel) to that degree is tasteless.

People also forget that Michael's 3 children are highly traumatized by having to live through this nightmare in the world's eyes- exactly what Michael was trying to avoid.

It is hypocrisy to be saying that one doesn't want to put the children in harm's way, hurt them or otherwise make them feel uncomfortable- and then let a camera film you while you once more bring up 'allegations'.
Michael's children are not idiots and nobody has the right to traumatize his children even further.
The kids are practically orphaned, have their own share of trauma- yet we are supposed to accept that people had 'concerns' about the children? How about they start by not supplying innuendo bringing up the 'half truth' and then leaving out the actual truth?

If concern for the children was on the producers mind, 'allegations' would not have been brought up yet again- but we don't want the public to EVER forget, do we? 'Cause Michael is being celebrated a bit too much, ain't he?

His children are traumatized, miss their Dad and need to deal with cruelty that constantly reminds them that their Dad was wrongly accused of something horrendous. Way to go!!!! NOT.

If true compassion was on anyone's mind, the children would never ever have to deal with their father being defamed and slandered even in death.

MJ was and is being abused himself- and that simply needs to stop.
And MJ would not being standing by idly, watching a TV host hurl the word allegations to get a rise out of his elder mother and he most certainly wouldn't condone his litte girl having to be on National TV, trying to 'keep it together'.
It would mean Michael's bleeding heart that his baby girl has to 'humanize' her Dad on TV.

I don't need Oprah to defend Michael but she isn't fair at all. People have said she could look at court transcripts or talk to Tom Messereau. As a celebrity herself she knows that people target you for things because of who you are. When she keeps bringing it up it's like she wants someone to verify it. That's terrible that she was abused as a child but doesn't mean everyone accused is guilty.

I may not like her but I always have believed she is very smart. Look what she has and what she has accomplished. But she ignores the information that is out there. During her show about him after he died she kept repeating how this was done "before the allegations". Why even say that? She may not say he is guilty publically but her actions say something else. She could have least given him the benefit of the doubt. She wants people to stop asking her if she is gay yet she always has to ask if Michael molested someone. It's absurd.

If she thinks so badly of him and doesn't like him or whatever then don't talk about him anymore. If she is going to talk about him stop bringing up the allegations. Just leave him alone.

that's because she is a creep....she has tried to pin the "child molester" name on MJ became she was molested as a child...now she thinks that just because Someone points the finger at someone that person is guilty. I think she is carry around some untreated anger and she should probably go back into counciling.

obsession with this issue and mj is beyond the trauma she experienced as a child. it's something else and jealousy plays a big role, it's not just the sex abuse charges alone when it comes to her and mj.

She's not anti Michael she's just (as we ALL should be) very anti child abuse. This doesn't even mean Oprah believes Michael did it, it's just means she won't go out and vehemently defend him because not knowing him personally she didn't/doesn't know for SURE.
Then shouldn't she educate herself on it first before commenting!? You seem to forget the jokes she allowed on her shows made by Chris Rock and Jon Steward that they made about his guilt and she laughed at and agreed with! U seem to forget that she compared a gay guy on her show to MJ when he said he can sleep in a bed with another man without having sex! She told this man he sounds like Michael Jackson! So it's clear she thinks he is Guilty!

Also alot of people on here always talk about how terribly Oprah talked about Michael during the trial on her show, this is simply not true and unlike it seems everyone else on this forum i can prove it.

From that show going all the way through 2004-2005-2006 and til this moment she only mentioned Michael a handful of times.

So people you all are entitleded to your opinions but don't state events that never even took place and present them as fact. NOT ONCE did Oprah mention michael in the same sentence as abuse or molestation.

I guess we have seen different shows of hers then. You are correct that Oprah never said "he IS a molester" but how can you give her a pass when we all KNOW what kind of remarks she has done in the past, ie leading into the sexual abuse charges and joking about him etc.

- Oprah had a show about unrelated men who share intimate relationships, no sexual, with one another and they insisted they were heterosexual. One of the men said that he often shared a bed with his friends and Oprah laughed and said “You’re sounding like Michael Jackson.”

- One show was about Body Dysmorphic Disorder and Oprah went on to say she thought MJ had this disease.

- During jury deliberations she had a show about pedophilia

- For some reason she asked several guest on her show (Chris Rock/Jay Leno etc) about their opinions about Michael and the trial when Michael was not even the topic of the show. She basically let them crack a few jokes about him while MJ was on trial.

What I have mentioned above is just a few things of what Oprah has said/done.
Sooo i mean, there is really not much more to add to this story and even Taj said on twitter that the family is aware of how Oprah has treated MJ in the past.

Yupp and there is more, I just posted some of the things she has said/done... there are more, for instance like bluetopez said how Jon Steward said some things on her show about Michael and her agreeing with LMP that MJ used her and took advantage of her.

Oprah has been extremely nasty towards MJ over the years.. All the things said above, and then Katherine allows this woman in her house to talk to MJ's kids after what Oprah did to their Dad. It is absolutely insane
