This is the saddest celeb death for me after MJ's. Whitney was (I can't believe I'm saying was) such an incredible talent and seemed like a beautiful person!

I found it more annoying how one person on CNN talked about how people were shocked, but not surprise because of her drug history. Seriously, he doesn't speak for me and I was very surprise, especially since she seemed to have finally turned the corner. They even already have their drug 'experts' saying this and that.

God, is it that hard to wait for a cause of death before we go back on the drug bandwagon. Is it too much to give her the benefice of a doubt?

Dionne Warwick and Cissy Houston spoke with Whitney Houston by phone just before she died and say Whitney seemed fine ... TMZ has learned.

Whitney's mother, Cissy Houston, spoke with her daughter 25-30 minutes before she died and nothing seemed unusual ... sources tell TMZ. We're told they talked about attending the Clive Davis pre-Grammy party.

Dionne Warwick, ?Whitney's cousin, called as well ... several hours before Whitney died ... to make sure they were sitting at the same table at Clive's party. And again ... there were no signs of trouble.

The people in touch with Dionne say she is inconsolable adding, "She is an absolute mess."

As for Cissy, we're told she is "hysterical."

Sorry you had to listen to this at this time. I only saw the reports at the top of the thread and that was enough. Gone are the days when the dead received some respectful coverage for at least 24 hours. However some people receive more respectful coverage than others.

It reminds me of when Oxman ran to the press to say how Michael died before the autopsy report was done.

So we have no reason to think anything yet. I Pray it wasn't drugs. But we just don't know. This isn't the same as Michael Nothing about this is "Just like Michael". No, we don't know how she died, it doesn't sound like drugs to me as her mother spoke to her 25-30 minutes before.

Poor daughter & mom. Prayers for the whole family. She has died way too young.
