Hi peeps,
When I was on MJ's sony site I found a question about favourite lyrics, I had never thought of my favourite lyrics before so I thought it may be fun to discuss each other's fav. lyrics from an MJ song (and why they are your fav. etc). It doesn't have to be the whole song by the way, it can just be part of an MJ song.

My fav. lyrics come from the song 'Jam'. This song is not at first glance a spiritual/deep song (at least that's what I thought when I first heard it) but these lyrics (especially this part) I find very true and very spiritual/inspiring.

Every song on HIStory album has a very good message. I couldn't agree more with this line I read one member saying on MJNO:
"People may complain that Michael doesn't do enough interviews, but if you listen to HIStory, really listen, all the answers are in there." :yes:

I love the lyrics of Dirty Diana, and Wanna be startin' somethin'. Gone to soon, I don't really like the song, but the lyrics are just beautiful.

Actually most of his songs are beautifully written. :lol: So, it's hard to choose.
 
The lyrics for Someone Put Your Hand Out have always been really special to me. In some ways, it seems like Michael was writing about my life in that song.

Also, Stranger In Moscow, Xscape, Shout, and Earth Song have really incredible lyrics.

That's how i feel about the lyrics to Jam, especially at a time in my life when I was seeking for Truth/God etc I can so relate to all that. Its amazing how some of his songs can be really person to so many people!

I also love the lyrics to 'Will you be there', 'We've had enough' and 'Unbreakable' both at a personal level (meaning they described how i was feeling at some important time of my life at some stage) as well as in my frustration/anger etc with the state of the world. I know why I am not a songwriter/singer because MJ can express these feelings/wishes/emotions etc so much better than I could ever have. :lol: Thank God for that!:yes:

not only in "HIStory", they are in all the albums beginning with "OTW" up to "Invincible" (and in the other songs released in between), actually Michael answers all the q. people would like to ask him
you want to know about his feelings during some past years... listen to his albums, the answers are just there;)
