Fan preparation thread for RUMOURD MJ 02 London trip

I am really excited along with everyone that I know about Michael’s RUMOURED London 02 Tour. So I wanted to start a thread where fans can exchange ideas to get the most out of seeing Michael in London next time. I know that the 02 tour has not been officially confirmed and a thread about speculation was closed yesterday.

Instaed this thread is to serve the purpose of helping Michael Jacksons fans to prepare themselves by exchanging ideas for Michael's RUMOURED (at this time) London visit and 02 concerts which I believe will start in Septemeber this year (2008), trust me!.

So exchange ideas to get the most out of seeing Michael in London. eg so you could be fan travelling form abroad who needs advice on hotels or any other issues etc.

This is what some other fans are planning to do to prepare for the rumoured MJ 02 trip:

*save money.
*to go to as many shows as possible.
*to buy a good video camera.
*we imagine that Michael would probably stay for about 3 months in London!
*…

Add your ideas, news, photos etc in this group to benefit all!

I think this could eventually become a much needed thread for Michael's fans.

If MJ is going to play in London.. I'm there! I'm suppose to be in NY for the Summer but I'll cancel it or come home early once everything's confirmed!
 
The 02 concerts are nothing but a (very) far-fetched rumor. The rumors originally stated that Michael would perform in February....well feb is almost over and now that people are realising it ain't happening anytime soon they just re-created the same rumors....for September.

I wish fans would stop being so gullible.
 
Until there is something conclusive, why are fans getting themselves worked up over something they do not know to be true? I ask this because Michael will be the one as we've seen recently, who will be the getting all the backlash!

I think all MJ fans should #1 SAVE UP MONEY..

By the time something is announced it will be close to too late to start saving..


Also we need to set up a buddy traveling system.. Where we travel together in groups.. This way we split travel costs, hotel costs etc.. Help each other around.

flight companies do travel packages etc..

Hotels, you know lets say groups of 10 people can split 2 hotel rooms.. Some sleep in beds, and on the floor to save money.. One person would check the room out, and we all split the costs.. They don't have to know how many people are IN the room.. lol!
 
According to people who emailed Raymone she confirmed that there is /has been discussions about it but nothing more. So nothing is decided yet. I think we should wait until we know something for sure.

A while ago I spoke to the spokesperson of 02 arena and they simply say it's in TALK right now. and that Michael is shopping around..


This tells us he plans to perform.. Where? We don't know, but we need to be ready.. Financially
 
*Try not to use up too much of your holiday hours at work!
So that you can use them if/when mj tours!trust me you will be pretty annoyed if you've got none left!!
 
they were discussing this on this morning on itv yesterday.
The woman on there seemed pretty sure that it was going ahead though i am not sure where she got her information from as i thought nothing had been confirmed

I think this thread is a good idea, and if anything does ever enventuate then it will help a lot of people. Perhaps though, instead of specifically saving for a specific location, (ie London, however likely or unlikely it may look at this stage), we can just to general planning for saving plans, (I'm hopeless at saving, but the last time I did that well it was in '96 for MJ), buddy systems, camera's, banners, etc. Our wonderful mods may appreciate this also!

That is very very kind of you...I am from Canada and I would go to London if there are concerts...
 
You cannot take cameras into the 02 they are hot on this and will take the camera off you and throw you out so BE WARNED if you want to risk being thrown out of the MJ concert you are silly.
 
moonchild - I think it is purely the artists directions and policies. I went to the Prince concert at 02 with a camera and lots more..none of it was confiscated etc. It depends on the show.
 
I'll come back to this thread when it's confirmed. Otherwise we're all just gonna get our hopes up.

We need to set up a TAVEL BUDDY system, groups of 5 or so.

* SPlit costs of various things
* Help each other get around
* Get travel group discounts
* Simply for the fun and experience
 
Lol, I like this thread. I get slightly giddy every time I walk pass an O2 store these days!
I think having some money saved up is the most important thing. My biggest worry is actually buying some tickets - what if they're sold out before I even get the chance to buy some? How do I make sure that doesn't happen?
 
I'm 500 or 600 miles away from London but its easy to get to from here :p
 
Out of curiousity, any fans live near or in the West Midlands?

There's always ways of sneaking them in. I had one in for the Bon Jovi gig (O2 Opener). Also got a full (amateur) Prince concert :cool:

ill take the plane from athens and ill go to london just for the event!!!i missed him in 92 when he cancel the show in athens in dagerous tour am not going to miss him again ill go to him...
