Now there you see. Those "global charts" suck because they are not prepared to be as global as Michael really is.

but Sony Taiwan states in its latest press release (dated March 7) that T25 has sold more than 1.4 million copies worldwide.

by the way

Thank you. I wondered how much it would be with Asia included. Originally industry execs were saying that Michael should play only in Asia because his popularity there is so strong. Too bad we don't have a real world chart.
 
so what's the total WORLD sales at this point?? :)
 
1.4 Million copies of a re-release is amazing! If Michael can sell that much with a re-release just imagine how many copies his new album will sell

No matter what the media says people love Michael and this is living proof of that

Yeah, those global charts lack for example China and India and even thou there are very much piracy there are still people who buy original albums. And those global charts also lack all the minor countries (that mediatraffic chart i.e. has 35 countries only) and actually together those minor sales could be also affective when it's Michael who is counted.
 
if it's 1.4 million now.. it will reach over 2 million :)

1.4 in the matter of weeks.. sales will slow down, but will continue

yeah...leave it to Taiwan's media to make the announcement first..and not America's media... no surprise there..but..hey..i digress..i'm just glad to hear it's selling worldwide like this

since when does the speed of the selling affect the sales? hey, thriller slowly made it to 104 million:)

That’s outstanding in just few weeks!

I think total sales counted for Thriller as it is easily approaching 106 mil
