Attn Members:

You may have noticed that when you start a thread, there is a toolbox for prefixes. These prefixes are to be used by MJJC staff only. If you feel that you have a hot story and need a prefix, we will have to review it and approve of it. If you have any questions, please contact us. Thanks!

If you dont want members using the prefixes the why give us the option? Maybe only staff should have access to it?

Unfortunately that's NOT a default option of vbulletin. Prefixes can't be assigned on a usergroup-basis. There's actually an hack which allows usergroups to use prefixes, however it changes vbulletin's core files which isn't safe to do.
Hopefully this option will be implemented in the next release of VB. :cheeky:
 
Ah that explains it. Oh well, guess it gives the mods something to do :lol:

Too many people are using the prefixes for every thread that they post.

Please remember the prefixes are for staff use only (otherwise every damn thread will end up with a prefix and thus make then pointless).
