Dear Members,
MJJC wants to help as much as we can any members that have been affected by the changed in the o2 dates. We will try to find out as much information possible regarding Airline/Hotel - Return/Exchange policies for you.
If you could please post all the information we need we will do our best to find out from the companies where you stand regarding any bookings you have made.

Please post in this thread what Airlines/Hotels you need us to look into for you and we will take all information posted and do what we can to help.

We will look into company policies online, Or even call them for you.
Once we have any information to give you we will then post it in a seperate thread so it will be easier for you to find.

Regards, MJJC staff.

Thank you very much MJJC Staff.

If it's any help, I changed the date of my (non-refundable) Travelodge booking online for a £5 admin fee.

I wish they would offer the same deal at Ryanair.

I booked a flight with Ryanair (www.ryanair.com) and their fees to change flight dates are 25 pounds or 25 euros per one way flight. In total 50 euros or 50 pounds. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Thank you.

I have a non-refundable ticket between 8 - 13 july, bought from SAS airlines.

Im attending the show in july 26 now.. so I need to change, I talked with them but they said I might need to add an additional £150 to change the dates... Its just too much I think. Can you please help me out with that?

Thanks in advance

That may be a help me, thank you for that.. but I may need to keep it too depending on my flights. No sense in canceling or changing my hotel if the flight is still on.

Thank you for this Lorraine. I think what would help me is if there are any reasonable tickets for sale for between July 13th and the 29th. 4 seats together or I can't do it, as they are my three kids with me and I have to be with them. That would be the biggest help for me right now. Other than that I think I'll just take my kids on this trip and try to make the best of it. Then I'll work towards being able to somehow afford another flight back to London with my kids for March. Even if it is for only a couple days, I guess that would work since we all want to see it still. Though realistically, I dont know how I'm going to come up with money for another trip.

I have made a sticky thread for all of the information we find to be posted in there. Keep checking. :)

We want to help everyone but please note we can't change their policies. So I'm uncertain where everything will lead but we just want to make sure all the options are explored and are available for each of you. How much help this service will be I don't know and can't promise but at least we can help to get everyone some additional information.

Thank you. I really have no experience with this type of thing. I thought you just book a concert and go. I realize he's not a robot and things do come up and sometimes though we want the show to go on, it simply can't. I hope there is something that can be done. I now wish I had bought from Viagogo earlier instead of ticketmaster. Seems they have better service.

Ticketmaster hasn't even replied yet.

Please note, most of the airlines listed depart from the US. I'm still looking for airlines in the other countries.

Also, some of the fans in the UK said they were traveling by train. Here's a link to help them contact the train stations.

If we stay positive we can make this work out. It will take a little bit of creativity, but we can find a way around this if we all work together. Because the concerts do not kick off until mid July, we have some time to work with.

Also, since opening night has been moved to July 13th, that tube leading to the O2 should be open. It's another thing that was going to make it difficult for fans to get to the venue.

Stay positive peeps...

You have forgot Austria in your Country List!

I have changed my Ryan Air Flight and had to pay 150Euro:(
Thats not really that cheap, and no our second concert is in March, this means me and my girlfriedn have to pay another flight:doh:

Normaly we would have seen the 8th and 10th concert:)

I am debating spending $3500 to get my kids and self tickets to opening night while we will be in London since it will be about the same cost as another flight up there in March. It seems so much to pay....but maybe worth while...I don't know. Should I hold off on that and see if ticket master may have some released the day of or closer to the show when Im actually there? Or should I seriously think of buying these?

I wish they would offer the same deal at Ryanair.

I booked a flight with Ryanair (www.ryanair.com) and their fees to change flight dates are 25 pounds or 25 euros per one way flight. In total 50 euros or 50 pounds. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That is actually great considering Ryanair's policy used to be that all flights were non-refundable. So I think you should be happy about this, actually.

Ape, I can't decide on what you do with your money but I would say go for it....especially if you're going to be paying the same amount to get back to London in March anyway. Try selling your tickets for March, at least that would save you a bit of money on the ones you're looking at buying now?

I was thinking the same thing about waiting to see if TM would have some tickets closer to the show but actually the closer we get to the show the closer we get to it being sold out.

Angel, I would def do what Dutchie suggested and put your march tickets on viagogo to get back money to put towards the opening night tickets.

AllforMJ what a star you are. Thank you so much for helping out.
I'll get to some of that later when home from work. Thank you again. Bless you. :flowers:

We too fly with Ryanair and for date change for three tickets in one order we payed 167 euros (55 euro per person), and for second order with one ticket we should pay 92 euros, as price for ticket had grown after I changed first order! Now I'm wating for price to get little lower (it happens with Ryanair) and even though it would cost about 70 euros.

I just rated this thread a 5 star. This is awesome. Let's keep the information flowing....this is what I was calling "brainstorming"...

Wow!! Fantastic Thread! Kudos to Lorraine and the rest of the MJJC staff....this is great!!

I don't want to take the credit, I was asked to make the thread for Gary although I will help out. :)

Edit: can we also leave this thread for the information we need to help others. If you have already managed to sort out your flights/accomadation that is great but please don't post all that information. It will get too much to read through. Although if you see someone asking for help from the same airline/hotel company you have dealt with then by all means post that info it could then be of some help. Thanks. :flowers:

Dutchie I got the same thing going on I think.
Booked with Easyjet and the flight can't be cancelled (change of concert dates is not in the insurrance policy

AEG ask us to came to london ... So they should refund tickets plane for us ! I can't have a refund ... I will never forgive them for that. I don't know how can I do to pay again for new flight in march.

They are offering flights for 8 euro now including taxes from Eindhoven to London so I am not happy at all. Plus you have to take into account for some people 50 euro is actually a lot of money. Now it's just down the drain for nothing. But I am going to keep my ticket because I originally paid a little over 80 euro, so it would be a waste to spend 50 euros to change my flight date, so I am better off booking a new flight. Now I am just
going to spend a day sight-seeing in London, but I am not happy at all because I bought my ticket for the concert. Maybe the people that are still going to London even though the concerts have been rescheduled, can organize a get-together.

I do understand your anger, and feel for you all that can't get refunds.
AEG have moved the dates but they didn't tell anyone to come to London.
Michael chose to have his shows here and some of his fans chose to travel. That is not the fault of AEG. The changing of the shows yes.

So.. what you're saying (not saying it's not true) is that nobody is responsible but the fans theirselves? There are fans who paid a few hundreds, maybe thousand euros (or dollars) to get there.

This can't be happening to them...?!

Well... I am going to have to bust my butt to pay off this trip. Holy moly. I didn't intend on spending this much. After this.. I am going to buy the new CD if there is one, and that will be it. I think I'm going to have to sell stuff.
