US Fish & Wildlife Service adds Lions to the Endangered Species Program!

This news is HUGE and I cried happy tears when it was announced today! It goes into effect in January 2016 and it was a long time coming. The horrible practice of trophy hunting should be banned completely and someday soon I hope it will. Right now this is a major step in the right direction to protect lions and save them from extinction. Cecil the lion's poaching death will not be in vain, although his killer walks free.

Blue, I'm not sure there is anything to understand. As far as I'm concerned, this "sport" is nothing short of a barbaric practice, bereft of any genuine masculinity, let alone humanity.
