One of the albums technically isn't Prince, but his protege Bria. But he is playing on her album. In the 90s he released an album called Emancipation that was 3 CD album of new music. Sign O' The Times was originally a 3 album set called "Crystal Ball" that Warner Brothers refused to release. In the 80s in addition to his albums, just about every single had a non-album B-side. So he's always been a busy type.
