Why? Who appointed him? Was he self-appointed? Is this what Michael legally wanted? Where is it written, this is what he wanted?

OK, lemme back up a little bit so you can follow:

I just read on the main forum in another thread( I think the thread about the furneral guest) and saw someone had posted A BLOG written by Miko Himself on the Larry King blog( i think).
It was written before the burial.

In it, Miko's blogs, he is working with the Executors to perserve Michael's legacy for his children.
Why? Who appointed him? Isn't this what Katherine's role should be? Did he recieve the consent of Katherine's lawyer to do this? What are his ties with Branca and the other executor( i forgot his name)?

Is this a non issue or should we Investigate further????????

Any thoughts?

I think it is a non issue. Reason being is because Michael LOVED Miko Brando like a brother and trusted him like no other. Miko saved Michael's life and Michael trusted Miko with his life. Marlon Brando viewed Michael as a son as well and he named Michael in his will.

I trust Miko more than some of Michael's own family. Sad but true... so yeah I think this is a non issue.

if theres anyone id want helping out its miko. is disrespectful to accuse everyone of being on the take.

Miko was there for Michael more so than some of his own family. Miko OBVIOUSLY loves those kids and it's good to see he wants what is best for the children, at least SOMEONE is watching out for them.

Miko was a great friend of MJ till the last minute he was defending him , his little daughter testified for mj in the trial and when the lawyer asked her whether she recognised the man there she answered that's MY FRIEND MICHAEL . I love the Brandos , true friends indeed.

Miko is one of the few people who genuinely loved and cared about Michael. If he's working with the estate to help preserve Michael's legacy, that's a GOOD thing. One of the few good things . . . but yeah. I have every indication that Miko is "good people."

If this is true then GOOD. I see no problem or 'wtf' here.

There were many sharks in the water circling around Michael, but Miko was NOT one of them. It truly is a non-issue, and we can move on. OK?

no comment.

Please comment, I'd like to hear what you have to say as well.

No comment in this thread is more important than the next.

However I would respect it if you decide to remain tight lipped.

The only thing disrespectful is your tone and this is not the first time in recent days.

Please remember what this forum is about and its title: MJJC Investigative Unit.

Everyone elese who responded has simply answered the questions.

Maybe you need to reconsider rather or not this forum is right for you during this time.
Some fans just dont come in here, cause its too much and I can understand that.

elusive I am not angry with you, but I am tired of your tone in the threads I create.

If you can not find it in your heart to be civil, can we take this to PM?

I trust your judgment and I hope this is a non-issue.

I hope Katherine knows he is working with the Executors though, I dont understand why he could work with them and they acted like they didnt want Michael's mother taking part or having a role in any decision making?

Does Miko have to be legally appointed at all? Just asking cause I really dont know?

I think Miko was there for Michael and so far I haven't got a bad vibe from him. I think he truly cared about Michael. I trust him.

Thanks for your answer.

I dont have a bad vibe of Miko either at this point. I just hope Mrs. Jackson is aware and has approved of Miko working with the Executors, that's all.

I dont get how he could work with them and Katherine has to hire an attorney and go to court to have a say in her son's Estate.

From what it looks like, Miko seems to be an honest and pure soul. I can't see him money-hungry to any degree. Considering his past with Michael...well that cements it for me.

I feel, that he's just making sure that things are being handled correctly within Michael's estate. Him along with Liz Taylor and Caulkin, were Michael's closest and most trustworthy friends (at least to my aknowledgement they were). I'd feel more comfortable knowing that one of his close friends are overseeing the work, and that Michael's wishes were followed throughout. We weren't there for the secret moments Mike held with these individuals...(or maybe some of us were I don't know...hell I don't wanna know) *sniff sniff* so perhaps they know what Michael wanted for his final wishes etc.

well ...IMHO...i believe Miko loved Michael and only had his best interest at heart....I agree with some others...Miko did defend Michael to the very end.......so I think Miko is OK....I believe that Katherine would be happy haveing him help out with things.

I think Michael Jackson picked exactly the executors he wanted.
I think these are people he trusted.
Remember Michael made out his will several years ago.
I don't think any of thel executors are involved with those who
murdered Michael Jackson.

I trust your judgment and I hope this is a non-issue.

Actually Miko talked about working for the Estate on LKL on 6/29 so he must have been hired immediately, I think for his personal knowledge about MJ & perhaps to control the discussion about MJ. There probably isn't anything shady about Miko but I do find it odd, actually shocking, that he would be hired by the Estate so fast. JMO.

KING: How well did he pay you?

BRANDO: He paid me very well.

KING: Who is paying you now?

BRANDO: The estate.

KING: You're not going to get shut out of this?

BRANDO: As far as I know now?

KING: What is your role now? BRANDO: Taking care of his elements, his stuff, his personal stuff.

KING: Do you think he's going to be bigger in death now, going to sell more?

BRANDO: Absolutely.

I do have concerns that he was less than honest when he talked on TV about his concerns about MJ. Here is an ex of dialog between Chopra, Geragos, king & Miko:

CHOPRA: Of course. There's a coterie of doctors right here in Hollywood that like to hang around celebrities. They perpetuate their habit. They make them drug addicts. We've got to really investigate this.

KING: Mark, you think it's OK to discuss it, wait? What do you think?

GERAGOS: I'm a big believer in the first amendment, but at this point, I think -- I'm in the camp where celebrate everything he's done and don't focus on the negative. Unfortunately, in our culture, that tends to be --

KING: Well, I don't think Deepak is trying to think --

GERAGOS: I don't think Deepak is at all. Deepak is absolutely correct. I can't tell you the number of clients I've had who have these doctors that kind of attach themselves to the entourage, and their entree is that they can write a prescription for a schedule III narcotic. And if they can do, that's their entry.

CHOPRA: The number one cause of drug addiction is not street drugs, but medical prescriptions prescribed legally by doctors. They're killing people, only --

KING: Miko, it's fair to ask, were you worried about Michael?

BRANDO: Yes, I was worried about him. But at the end, he was fine. He was eating properly. He was working out. Up there on stage, rehearsing. He was -- he hit those notes. He hit those steps. He didn't miss a step.

I would want to know more about what he was worried about. I believe he said he never saw him take anything.

miko aint an executor hes helping with jobs that need doing. he has no say. katherine isnt asking to be a helper in sorting out personal belongings etc. 2 totally seperate issues

He may be talking about being worried about Michael in general. After EVERYTHING Michael had been put through his whole life, as a true friend I think he had every right to constantly be worried. With all of his "money issues" and all the people surrounding him in more recent years, I can see why he would be worried. I see it as him talking about that, not so much his health.

It's entirely appropriate that Miko is working for the estate. I doubt he's working in a decision-making capacity, but as someone who was close to Michael he is no doubt working with the MATERIAL that belonged to Michael. Probably he's sorting, cataloging, and might have insights about what things were of importance to Michael?

I'm not understanding, though, why he said that at the end, Michael was "eating properly," and so on, when fans saw that Michael had lost so much weight they were afraid for him?

Yes. He would prob. be able to say, where it bellongs., or how Michael worked on it, how he wanted this stored, keep these together etc. Just hands on love that's it. Being his near and dear friend he would know what Mike held near and dear.

Yeah, I'm wondering about this too. He was physically close to Michael, he could tell whether or not the man was losing weight or not. Maybe he was used to him being skinny and all but...the dancers would also know. There used to seeing eachother at a certain weight, and if someone losses far to much weight....they'd prob. notice, even if it was MJ. Plus, they were prob. working with MJ for months at a time, hence seeing the weight slowly come off.

I dont get that either, and same can be said for Lou Ferigno who was training Michael, I cant help think that a personal trainer shoulda picked up on the signs that something just wasnt right with Michael. But do we know just how much Michael was actually working out in those last few weeks?

My guess is that those around Michael did see the change in him. Maybe some approached Michael with their concerns. And maybe others felt as long as he was on stage and performing, he surely must've been OK. And maybe others just couldnt see past the money and contractual obligation he had to fulfill, so better not say anything at all.

Good point. Lou would have been able to notice any fluctuations in weight. Maybe he was working with Mike early on in the game but...who knows.

Damn, I wish I could have been in visible and been there...I'd stop the whole friggen thing! *sighs*

There is such a thing as just allowing one to do as they please b/c they feel that they're the ones who are in charge...but really, they're not. If you see something wrong with somone, you have to stand up and say something. Sadly though, some people are just too afraid to loose contact with Mike or dont want to loose the $. Sick and sad.
