Re: Sundance Festival 2019 - Controversial MJ Documentary "Leaving Neverland"

i believe michael michael and us will go out stronger than before out of this circus. tabloids wont be on our side,ok. but this mess is really so obvious and rediculous. people are not stupid. they will hear about wades past and will start to doubt. in the end this hole circus could turn to our side because we have the power to fight back now. tv ratings are decreasing.more and more people looking youtube, netflix etc. we must take the chance and clear mj offall the stupid alligations. now its thr time! mayn celebrities and former child friends of mj stand up for him now. its our time now to show the world that mj has always been innocent.

I agree, maybe this is the time to suppress liars once for all. Enough is enough and times have changed.

Re: Sundance Festival 2019 - Controversial MJ Documentary "Leaving Neverland"

None of my friends or acquaintances have mentioned this mockumentary. I'm in the UK and I've deliberately kept quiet as I refuse to advertise that crap. If they knew about it they would have brought it up.

What will happen after Channel 4 airs it I've no idea but I'm hoping it won't get that big an audience. We just need to keep shouting out the facts. That's all we can do. The Estate will need to do more to repair the damage.

Re: Sundance Festival 2019 - Controversial MJ Documentary "Leaving Neverland"

Yeah I agree. This is going to be the end for Michael and his legacy.
Sad.

But this will always be possible that new generations can discover and study him cause his music and the Jacksons music, with concerts, interviews, speaches etc. is all over youtube multible times with all the facts we have collected over the years.
People will continue to make remixes with his music and positive videos cause he will always beloved from millions of people.
Nobody can erase MJ, his art and the truth about him from the internet!
This is impossible!

I agree, however what mean is if they try and mute him on radio and streaming sites that will give a strong signal to the public. Wich can have a snowball effect for the next generations. Doubt that it will happen but we have to be prepered for that aswell.

Re: Sundance Festival 2019 - Controversial MJ Documentary "Leaving Neverland"

As much as I would like to stay positive and I was at the beginning, now I see that it is a worldwide spread propaganda to damage and remove MJ's legacy, image and music. This mocumentary hasn't even aired yet but we are already seeing MJ's wax figure being removed in a Copenhagen's mall due to complaints from families with children.... radio stations will be getting complaints if they play Michael's music (if they are not getting them yet), some music act (I can't remember what it was now, but I think it was a planned classical concert where they wanted to do an MJ tribute, they changed their choice of song / artist due to the negative press Michael is getting. This is just the beginning and I believe there are more examples of which we still don't know.

It does seem odd that they managed to do this so secretly, but I guess it was easy. Low budget-just 2 people and some family members talking on a microphone to 1 guy.
I do think if anyone has HBO, they should cancel and say why.
If channel 4 has commercials, find out who the sponsors are and flood them with emails.
Going after the advertisers was quite effective with cancelling Paula Dean and Bill O'Reilly here in the States.

I thought about a commercials boycotting since the beginning, I’m ready to change my spending habits for a good cause and this it SURE is. We are many and that’s power.

I agree. I mean it is 2019 and there is the internet.. Michael can’t die again but who in their right mind would want to work with a person who can turn on you like Wade. He may have in the long run just destroyed his career for the rest of his life. I sure hope so..
And for perspective I think most people nowadays think Anne Boleyn was innocent :)

Same here in London.
Every time MJ comes up in a conversation, people just say how an amazing artist he is.
No one brings up those ****ing allegations or believe it.

Like wise, I think that's the issue tho, MJ is being celebrated again and they want to smack it down

I think that it’s hard, it’s painful but Michael will get over this dark days once again, in my view they are more desperate than we. It’s a matter of time.

Do they really claim macaulay and Brett were molested IN the documentary?

If so, GREAT! let them incriminate themselves... that's good news!

Same here. Not a single person has talked to me about it here in Norway. Ive kept my mouth shut.

I will on the night or day before it airs (if it airs here) do a lenghty post on my facebook and exposing this whole scheme and write down some facts. I think tHe most effective way is to speak to your friends and familiy ON THE SAME DAY it airs BEFORE they watch it.

Then thos who will watch it will have some truth in their heads while they are watching. And thos whos decide not to watch it will hopefully have seen my post anyways and at least planted a seed in their heads.

We have to protect our circle aswell.

I find it frustrating that fans are being made to prove Michaels innocence. It’s like people don’t get that you should be presumed innocent. It’s guilt that has to be proved. But I guess that way of thinking doesn’t fit with the haters world view.

Re: Sundance Festival 2019 - Controversial MJ Documentary "Leaving Neverland"

Thats the way they want it. Spinning it around. To take it off the fact its them that should be providing facts to back up their allegations.not the accused having to prove a negative.

It's been that way for a long time. Not just Michael, but others who were accused as well, guilty or not guilty. Look at the Emmett Till situation here in America. That's why it's very important to keep reminding the world about the true facts.

His music will still be played and this won’t do much at all. BBC Radio 1 won’t play artists like Chris Brown, XXX or Tekashi 69 because of their past. I’m not even sure if X was convicted. But LNFSG and DMTM were in their A List playlist. This is a lot different to the R Kelly case. I doubt it will have much impact and come June it would have been forgotten about.

Two friends of mine have brought it up with me in a WhatsApp group. Both of them are no great MJ fans and have made jokes many times in the past about his weirdness and him possibly being guilty.

However, after I presented them with the facts, neither of them really believe these accusations. One even said this “I'm no w**** j**** fan, but he was acquitted right? Unless there are new revelations with concrete proof, you can't just sully his legacy based on some documentary”.

However, they’ve only come to this conclusion because I am there presenting facts. Most people who watch this won’t have one of us on hand to show them the truth.

I think it's gotten worse due to the MeToo movement. Now any allegations and people will drop you until you've proved your innoccence. The ironic thing is Michael did but people still don't believe it.

I support the basis of the timesup and MeToo movement but I strongly disagree with the way it's going now. Due process is out the window. No wonder some people start shouting about fake news.

I read an article about the justice system in England prior to the Jury system being introduced. The accused had his hands and feet tied and thrown in the water, if they floated they were guilty, if they sank then they were innocent. It feels like we are going back to those days.

Re: Sundance Festival 2019 - Controversial MJ Documentary "Leaving Neverland"

Yeah I agree. This is going to be the end for Michael and his legacy.
Sad.

I think it's way too early to jump to those conclusions. Look at R Kelly for example, his music is still on streaming services, apparently still has tons of fans in the world. This is not to compare the two because they are worlds apart really. After this shit has aired I'm sure the music will stay on these services, fans will remain fans, haters and the media in general can still go **** themselves and it's whatever really.

Seriously, if nothing big happens from the estate I'm just gonna stop bothering with it. From them on I'll be like "you wanna be a mindless drone that refuses to his/her own research?" To anyone I might talk to. You just wanna believe he did it? You do you." I'll just remain being his fan, listen to the music, watch videos and that's it.

It's really not that good of a sign that Taj has to kickstart a doc when there's this huge estate with tons of money to fund such a thing. I wanted to believe that they were busy with something behind the scenes, but why would Taj need money for a doc then? If estate was making something Taj wouldn't be asking it. Not good.

Now you are talking about actual witchtrials I think :). But I found in genealogy that I had a relative who was in the jury for a witchtrial in the 1600s in Sweden so there was some kind of jury even then...

It's when I read comments like these that I'm starting to think we as fans may have been too panicky. We naturally started seeing all kinds of doom scenarios about how the majority of people would boycott MJ, but what if that's not going to be the case? We know the media has it out for MJ and they don't care and the TV networks still believe they can hook tons of people with this, so.... all about the money.

But what if that's not the case? A friend of mine the other day brought up MJ in a pub and warned them of this mockumentary. Nobody there had any idea such a thing was even gonna happen. So it seems that either the news hasn't picked up on it here(except for tabloid crap shows) or people have learned from the trial and aren't so easy to fool anymore.

It's also entirely possible that I will be eating these words once the "doc" has aired but that remains to be seen.

Yeah and much more, I don’t know anything about US law but I don’t think it’s possible involve third party in a situation like this, I’d unleash hell on earth

All famous and rich people should be afraid now that something like this nightmare can happen to them, their family and legacy one day when they are gone and should try now to instult laws against it.
1. Against people who saying something under oath and change their story many years later when they can expect money for it.
2. Against people who can accuse and slander a dead person for a crime cause its unfair.

Possibly, while watching a video about these two liars it was mentioned that Ch 4 has screened 2 previous "documentaries, I can't even remember them airing. I think the fact that pair have had their cases thrown out already, we have all the evidence that they lied, we have shared that, the estate has shared that and yet HBO still give them a plat form is the real cause of anger and frustration here

Re: Sundance Festival 2019 - Controversial MJ Documentary "Leaving Neverland"

They aired mj boys and some other i cant remember.i think during the trial and one around 2008. All hatchet jobs one by jack perriti.

Chanel 4 have answered the estates letter of course dening everything article on bbc news site for those intrested. Personally i have no intrest in hearing the B.S denials
