Leave Me Alone has nothing to do with tabloid. The video does, but the song does not
It does. It's what Michael wanted to express. Read Moonwalk. He wrote that Leave Me Alone is for the people who stalk him:
But what I'm really saying to people who are bothering me is: Leave me Alone.
Also:
Written and composed by Michael, “Leave Me Alone” expresses Michael’s frustration with his mistreatment by the media, a message that was further amplified by the song’s award-winning short film.

That´s tough, I like too many songs lol
you can vote for all of them
the songs above are examples for the topics, your examples could be different, of course
On the Line could be an example for empowerment

I voted for death and loneliness as those are the topics I relate to the most. They are also mostly my favorite songs he did

my favourite topics are femme fatale, empowerment, earth/humanity, loneliness and death

what was great about the early eighties is that although some of these tropes had already been developed, they were still fresh and new. it wasn’t predictable to the point where michael’s songs could be neatly categorised like this. once is enough. why continue covering the same ground?

Listen I'll Tell You How from the J5 also fits here:

How many times have you heard that sad story
About people who have no friends, yeah
Step by step they're on a lonesome road
Tears and saddened
Heart all they'll only know

Know you must have seen somebody
Walking with their head hanging down, yeah
Wishing for a friend to come their way
And hoping for a new and brighter day, woo
