Led Zeppelin's many plagiarisms

they jacked from the blues as did the rolling stones and several other acts and yet they get applauded as being special. i dug John Bonham on drums and I respect Jimmy Page on guitar and I do give them some due for a few things, but beyond the hits I never got the hype.

The Beatles too. I saw a documentary on British tv where they showed the rolling stones and Ton Jones and Beatles were actually students of this anerica blues singer and they litterally copied everything he taught them.

Yes but the Beatles and Rolling Stones haven't been caught. I've seen or heard no examples of songs they've directly ripped from.

Very interesting topic...

Music "Rock & Roll " Industry was a different animal back then...in her infancy...much of what was released came from the blues, rockabilly...

Check out "Rock & Roll Hall of Fame" certainly one can learn alot about the history of music...and if your really interested by this colleges offer credit classes called the "History of Rock & Roll"
