Miko Brando working w/Executors of MJ's Estate?? WTF!

'm not understanding, though, why he said that at the end, Michael was "eating properly," and so on, when fans saw that Michael had lost so much weight they were afraid for him?

cause of whatever crap murray was giving him? the chef talked about him eating etc so something was going on unless he just wasnt eating enough to replace what was lost from the rehearsals

Exactly.

I'm just wondering why Miko didn't SEE how thin Michael was getting? Except, in that rehearsal footage they've been showing over and over, Michael is wearing somewhat baggy pants (for him, at least!), and THREE shirts. No way to really tell how thin he was.

When your around someone all the time you don't notice it, because weightloss/gain happens gradually. Michael was working his butt off at rehearsals, so he's going to loose weight. The people surrounding Michael at the time probably weren't alarmed because they would have been blaming his weight loss on rehearsals. Kenny Ortega, for example, worked with Michael on past tours and probably saw Michael loosing weight fast without any issues, so when preparing for this is it, he saw Michael loosing weight, but didn't think that it would be a problem, since it never was a problem in the past. I'm assuming it was normal for Michael to loose weight during tours, so no one was concerned by it. I don't think anyone thought Michael would be laying in a casket right now.

Anyway, back on topic: I see nothing wrong with Miko working with the executors. Miko's one of the guys who's always had Michael's back, and I'm glad that he's involved.
 
luv the sexy marlon brando.... haha. miko seems like a good guy. they have been friends for so long. mj cared very much for the whole family.
i love the miko and his dad's cameo on the "you rock my world" video. (sorry off topic a little).

I agree with this.

Michael's weight loss was apparent in his face just look at the footage from the announcement of the shows in London from March.

I also feel, steph gives a plausible explaination for why miko may not have noticed it.

Hope and Pray you are all right about Miko, would be nice to have a least one loyal person who truly cared for our Michael with no strings attached.
 
i think the concern shold have obvious to everyone. everyone knows mj loses a hell of alot of weight during a tour. look at him in the walters interview around sept 07 after spending the summer on tour. u cold see how skinny he was when u compair it to how he looked at the begining of history. what exactly did these ppl expect him to look like at the end of sept when b4 the tour had even started he looked as if he were at the end of the tour

I know that for the vid and photos of the 02 announcement, people on the board were saying how great Michael looked. Uhm, no? His face was gaunt. His clothing was sort of loose -- no way to tell, really, about his weight, but he surely wasn't in fit condition.

He seemed slightly better for awhile, and then started losing weight again. You're right about the HIStory tour. Michael had to put on quite a bit of extra weight to withstand performing. No WAY was he ready for the 02.

I hope Miko didn't notice and is telling the truth about that, because he's always seemed like a loyal friend to Michael. Or maybe he just wasn't really around him?

The media, and Murray, are trying to portray Michael as a druggie. That might not be true, at ALL. I think he was being poisoned! I don't buy that "six-weeks of Propofol" story, either. Michael had children. He was NOT an idiot.

yeah he prob just wasnt around.tmk he wasnt working for mj was just his friend. if he was his BG picking him up every day etc then yeah u would expect him to notice

Absolutely NOT looking at Miko as a suspect! He was one of the few of Michael's TRUE friends. He cared deeply about him.
 
Please Somebody tell me this article was tucked away in the tabloid section and everybody but me saw it and agreed thats where it should be?

I wanted to have a better understanding of Miko's and MJ's long friendship, so I googled Miko's name and came across a very recent article:

The article claims the Law Officials are Investigating Miko Brando as a Supplier of painkiller drugs for Michael. Am I the only fan who have never seen this? My God, I had never even thought of such a thing.

Is News Bizarre legit? How come we never heard other news sources pick up on this story if its true?

I've been a fan since the early 70's, I dont know how long the Brando's and MJ go back but I too have never heard this about Miko.

I just hope, other fans who read it can come to a conclusion of him and his role as MJ's friend on their own.

Whatever the truth is, I want it to come out and this article is interesting to say the least.

kind of ironic. i heard people who would be considered the furthest away from Michael(media people)say that 'MJ looked alright' during the press conference. of course, they would say 'he's not looking good...as in handsome..but...alright'. though the anti handsome remark was uncalled for,(and u can tell they were being facetious with that, out of envy) by them, they gave the indication that they didn't think he was gaunt..which is a word the media always loved to use, regarding Michael. and that news bizarre thing seems to sound tabloid. first they paint MJ as a druggie, then they say Miko may be another candidate for bio dad, thirdly, the word 'bizarre' has always been a durogatory term that tabs associated with Michael, so it comes across as just another slanderous tabloid. it certainly sounds like the rest of them, so why should i believe it's not like the rest of them. at least, the paper should be original and not take its cue from the tabs..

To me, what he looked like was "animated." Unusually so, for him at a press-conference. In still-photos, you can see how bony his face is, though. Yeah, the "anti-handsome" remark was uncalled for. Jerks! It's funny, but the word most often applied to his looks by fans is "beautiful." Not exactly "handsome" but. . "beautiful. . ."

I just don't know. Plus, he was quite late, wasn't he? Afraid no fans would show up? Awwww. . . . .

No it is not a name that inspires much confidence at all,

Nor are whats being alleged in the article in regard to Miko either.

After much debating this evening after coming across this article, I'll need more info/proof in whatever direction it come before I can give a better assestment of what I think this could mean.

Hope that make sense.

OK, lemme back up a little bit so you can follow:

I just read on the main forum in another thread( I think the thread about the furneral guest) and saw someone had posted A BLOG written by Miko Himself on the Larry King blog( i think).
It was written before the burial.

In it, Miko's blogs, he is working with the Executors to perserve Michael's legacy for his children.
Why? Who appointed him? Isn't this what Katherine's role should be? Did he recieve the consent of Katherine's lawyer to do this? What are his ties with Branca and the other executor( i forgot his name)?

Is this a non issue or should we Investigate further????????

I will say this(If the above is true) Why is everyone but a Jackson(Katherine, Janet, Rebe Latoya) making decisions about Michael Jackson's estate.
While I have no knowlegde about Miko good or bad; something is not right with the opposition to any Jackson's making any imporrtant decision in regards to Michael Jackson's legacy and estate. I do not believe this is the way Michael wanted things.

I had the same concerns initially as you pointed out with this post.

I hope you get a chance to read that article I Found on Miko Brando today, in it, it states that Law Officials are now looking into HIM as a SUPPLIER OF PAIN KILLER DRUGS for Michael.

The allegation alone is disturbing with him now linking himself in with the Executors of the estate.

We need more info for sure, dont you think?

Where can I find this story? I checked Google news and nothing came up. Is this a recent story. Also I take evrything the media reports about MJ and drugs with a grain of salt. But I would like to read it.:)

That article comes from a very questionable source. Right up there with Michael dying of some genetic disease that afflicts primarily Scandinavians?

I think it's likely that Miko is working FOR the estate in sorting and identifying materials. He is not involved with estate decision-making. He was a close friend of Michael's.

Trish already said this is a non-issue. And it is.

there was nothing to even implicate Miko
they had NOTHING - his name was never mentioned in the sources they
quoted _ they just assumes it MIGHT be him based on NO info to support that fact
did you not see that ???

I did and it was easy to spot - It is typical Tabloid journalism
you have to read everything carfully _ THEY had nothing ..
Just his Name and Michaels to get hits _ NO real content

We cant implicate people based on NO evidence like the TABLOIDS do

because thats what mj wanted and where is miko making decisions? he been used to help collect things etc some act like hes become a executor himself.

u know what mjs will states.he didnt want his family being in control cause we know dam well what will happen infighting and stupid money making schemes that will destroy his estate. thats why he gave katherine what he did and she can do what she wants with it interms of giving money to the siblings until she dies. very simply plan that mj put in place plus the no contest clause

Please dont take this the wrong way, I mean this in every respectful way imagineble,

I read what Trish's response was to my initial post, I understand your opinion. Check what my repsonse was to her's, I didnt find the article until after that.

At my age, I can really decipher for myself when something is over for me or not. Until the owner or a Mod closes this thread for us breaking a rule or whatever the reason being, I'd expect this subject to still be available to comment on, correct me if I am wrong here? The thread is open still isn't it?

I can tell how you feel about this subject, it comes across quit clearly, please remember there may be others who may not feel as you do and may want to explore this subject more and continue the dialogue.

Whatever the owner decide's I will support.
