You should understand that the only reason there's a big watermark is that bootleggers would be misusing the pics otherwise. I'm not posing.

do you own copyrights?

in that small size and resolution it would not be possible to use this for a physical reprint.
and if a bootlegger is skilled enough to re-produce a printable version from this, well then he should also be able to remove your logo.

As I said before, I'm really not that concerned about the cover art for the BTM and HT cd's. I just want the people handling the promotion to execute this well by encouraging radio stations, tv networks, music stores, clubs, etc., to play the damn songs/videos and to get people excited about them.

will they add something new like "Shout" Cry single 2001?

This is Promo CD single, it is not for sale, just like Hollywood Tonight Promo single in UK. Sony gave those cd's to radio stations for promotion.

I would like to have real cd singles like Hold My Hand, but I doubt that it will be commercially released - I think it will be download only singles..

I have this CD, it's a legit one. Very scarce item, most radio stations in France have just received a digital MP3 file of it.

Korgnex, do you know will it be released as commercial cd single like Hold My Hand or it will be download only single? In that official Sony statement they don't mention cd single..

I would say that for one person to have 9 of these is quite suspicious, and also the fact they are putting them as buy it nows considering the rest sold like hotcakes, auctions would generate more money. Have anymore of these promos come from any other sources?

Well, the seller's username is "illogicall_musicboutique". Illogical, indeed. lol He's got very good feedback, but this is suspicious.

Birchey, there are guys on eBay that have contacts and get several copies of a rare item.
There's also a guy that has a "Hollywood Tonight" acetate about each week. People in the radio business are often selling their copies through another salesperson due to the fact it's highly illegal.


And btw, I have direct confirmation from a source at Sony Music France that these CDs have been manufactured and thus are legit.
As I own this as a collector, I could also check everything and there's nothing suspicious.


Let's not turn this into a fake-or-not-discussion. As long as you don't own a copy, you can't really tell yourself.

Yes I understand that people can have duplicate copies but we are talking what 12 copies or summat? All done as a quick buy it now sale. and the simple fact that this is the ONLY person selling this cd for over a week.

Secondly is this the official Radio Edit time of BTM? MJDatabank has it at 3:39? Also the radio broadcast we have is 3:32 and it clearly has a bit missing from the intro and fade out?

I just think its better to provide this info to "future" buyers. It may very well be real and only time will tell.

Yes, it is. The official Radio Edit has a track length of 3:39 min and a real playtime (without the 4 seconds silence at the end) of 3:35 min. That's why the sleeve mentions 3:35 min.
