"Michael", a biopic about Michael Jackson, is officially happening.

I remember loving that photograph [m shopping with his trolley in that orange shirt] back in the day. I Think the film will hold alot of detail.

I live in LA closer to the Toys R Us site, that building was formerly one of the last Kmarts in Los Angeles that closed around 2018. Michael was the last movie I’d think they make a TRU set for lmao

I think that a movie about Michael, that sets things straight about the allegations, should be 100% accurate to be 100% credible.
Impossible.

What even is '100% accurate'? You want to build a time machine and capture all real life conversations he had and what exactly was said?

I agree that with the allegations they should be careful with the scènes to not lose credibility. They should add the most important 'evidence' for his innocence which we can prove with court documents.

In Bohemian Rhapsody they did this:
Reid was not fired as Queen's manager after an argument with Mercury over his solo career as portrayed in the film. The band and Reid parted amicably in 1978 by mutual agreement and for different reasons.[172][173]
In the biopic they will do this:
Branca was not fired as MJ's manager.
I don't want to see things like that. They give the impression that they are trying to manipulate the audience. In the case of the allegations, such details could cast doubt on the portrayal of Michael's innocence

Why should they? Branca himself never claimed that

The first song for the soundtrack has been copyright registered. Leave Me Alone will be one of the 20 songs played in the movie.

Fake registration, someone edited 2 copyright registrations to make it seem real. Please disconsider.

Will be really cool to hear his music on a theatre sound system again.
Agreed. Even if the movie turns out to be bad I'll still go to the theater to watch it just for that lol.
Is it official that there will be 20 songs or is it a rumor? What's the source?
It comes from the same article that revealed the script.
That doesn’t include above-the-line fees for talent, and it’s not clear whether it includes music rights, a substantial expense here. I counted about 20 M.J. and Jackson 5 songs in the script, and at least five separate montage sequences set to his music.

No, he never said that. They had on and off. BTW he was his attorney
The performer's cavalier attitude toward management is indicated by the churning that takes place on his staff. In 1990 he fired lawyer John Branca and business manager Marshall Gelfand only to rehire them in 1993.

Maybe this is going to be an action movie. :D
:ROFLMAO:

My first response to this was to think, why would a stunt team be needed for the film? It's a drama.

But then I started to think ... Michael on the cherry picker ... Michael on the hotel balcony. Depends on what scenes they want to recreate.

EDIT - can't see any African Americans in that list of stunt people so I don't know who could double up for Jaafar. Maybe they'd use lots of long shots. Who knows? 🤷🏽‍♀️
