Detroit street to be named after pop music icon Michael Jackson

Police chief Craig led the presentation of five keys to the city — each encased in a frame with a gold-hued Detroit skyline — including one posthumously tailored for Michael Jackson.

Craig jokingly advised that the keys wouldn’t get them out of traffic citations.

Jermaine Jackson leaned in: “Do they open the banks?”

Although he was probably the second best vocalist among the brothers technically speaking, Jermaine is right at the back of the field where his creative contributions are concerned. Not to mention him completely missing their golden years as a creative force. By the time of his return for Victory, the moment had passed.
