Dieter Wiesner-Channel on YouTube

According to Wiesner, Michael himself did. LOL! See Annita's post.
I read the linked interview myself to see if it was taken out of context or whatever. Annita translated it just the way it was printed.
If MJ said this, I know where he is coming from and what he intended.

If MJ said this, I know where he is coming from and what he intended.

There is no "if". Mike WOULDN'T say something so self-hating and STUPID! The vitiligo didn't change his ethnicity. He was already an internationally known superstar when he was a child, long before the disorder affected his physical appearance.

Mike was not ashamed of his heritage and fans shouldn't entertain the thought of fools that think he was.

^Funny. no sadly, Weisner is not the first and only. It seems impossible that people can really be that stupid.

He really doesn't seem to know, or understand (or care?) very much.
I always remember that wonderful tribute MJ sang to Sammy Davis Jr: (Although of course Michael opened whole walls full of doors, not least MTV)

You were there, before we came.
You took the hurt, you took the shame.
They built the walls to block your way.
You beat them down.
You won the day.
It wasn't right, it wasn't fair.
You taught them all.
You made them care.
Yes, you were there, and thanks to you
There's now a door we all walk through.
And we are here, for all to see --
To be the best that we can be.
Yes, I am here....
Because you were there.

^^ironic to me that you happened to write this because when I was reading the original comment all I could think of is how he kicked wide open any kind of doors or barriers in his way due to unbelievable talent and ambition. (and yes, not just MTV-RADIO, the record labels, television programming, ownership of his own catalog, the business power with his own companies, etc. etc. etc).

And suddenly I started thinking of Sammy too. The adversity he went through. Until Michael came along I didn't think anyone could be greater. When you are exposed to talent like that, any kind of learned prejudice goes out the window.

Here are some photos from the original MJ drawings discussion thread. Firstly a photo that shows that MJ worked with BLS in some capacity over very many years, starting at least with the creation of the Brotman Hospital memorial plaque.

The following photos show BLS's planned MJ memorial statue, and next there is a link to a BLS page of designs for a 'Crystal city' in Dubai, which includes both a design for a very similar memorial to a Sheikh (reminiscent of the Albert memorial in London), and also a design for 'Gates of Paradise'.

Cynthia Lennon with statue of John Lennon and sculptor Brett Livingstone-Strong

In celebration of what would have been John Lennon's 41st birthday, a seven foot bronze statue was unveiled outside City Hall in Los Angeles.

The statue was by 27-year-old American sculptor Brett Livingstone-Strong, and took three months to create. Begun in 1979, it was the only statue of Lennon created during his lifetime, although final work wasn't completed until 1981.

It weighed three tons and cost $75,000. Shortly after its unveiling, Lennon fans began laying flowers at the foot of the statue's plinth.

Livingstone-Strong intended for the statue to remain outside City Hall for one year, in the hope that someone would buy it and donate it to the city, so it could be put on permanent display. However, after 18 months there was no buyer. Livingstone-Strong sent it to a number of destinations around the world during the 1980s, including Japan and Australia, and in 1988 it was sold to Rock Legends Ltd of Australia for $1 million.

The Lennon statue was on show at the Grammy Awards Music Academy in Los Angeles for almost a decade. In 2010 it was once again put up for sale, with price tag of $2 million.

Also on 9 October 1981, Yoko Ono designated the day as International World Peace Day.

I enjoyed my copy for some time now despite the non-English text. It is all of the positive reviews posted here and more!

I dare say this is my most treasured posthumous book as Michael is the sole contributor of the artwork. I am unsure what is more impressive: his attention to intricate details or the patience he has shown with portraits.

Again, there is only suspicion of a legal dispute, no fact.

The question remains: what does the law say about this book?

The response: even if there is a legal dispute currently, the book can be and is being sold legally until the issue is resolved. Fans can feel free to purchase if they choose to own affordable, quality reproductions of Michael’s artwork.

Provided there is indeed a legal dispute, the issue may be resolved in BLS/Wiesner’s favor if they indeed have reproduction rights. Whether a suggested legal dispute is resolved in favor of the Estate or not, I would hope this book remains available for fans’ to purchase and not buried. This book should be available for sale in the MJ One store more so than any other book currently available there that does not include a stitch of Michael’s input (minus Opus if I remembering the offerings correctly).

My power to prevent your freedom of speech is most likely equal to your power to prevent others from purchasing this book.

Another lame money making scheme at the expense of MJ, since his estate (or MJ from the grave) was not consulted. That means MJ estate will not get any money at all while BLS will be laughing all the way to the bank.

Quite frankly this is getting tiresome. if it's not BLS trying to stiff MJ and now his estate, it's some anonymous dude trying to sell unauthorized pix, or vacarro trying to sell other unauthorized possessions. I'm glad the MJ estate is doing everything it can to rein in on these disgusting leaches.

for the record, I will never buy this book even if they paid me. simply because it lacks MJ estate approval or isn't benefiting from it.

Somehow, when Thome signed the contract with Darren Julien in the summer of 2008, to empty "Neverland" of Michael's possessions, because Tom Barrack wanted this done, Michael's belongings removed, suspicions begin.

I wonder why the local Mayflower moving company didn't pack up Michael's things from "Neverland," it would have been a lot cheaper to box up and move contents to a local warehouse. Instead Thome agreed to $2 million and Michael was pissed. It wasn't just the auction, it was the price to pack up Michael's things, it was outrageous. That's why by the time March of 2009 rolled around, it had become evident that Thome wasn't dealing very honestly with Michael's money.

That's why it is suspect that Thome would just hand over Michael's artwork to Brett Livingstone Strong. If Thome signed a deal with an auction house, with the possibility to auction off Michael's things, then why would Michael just hand over his artwork, free of charge. He wouldn't.

Dieter Wiesner has a new client, a Michael Jackson impressonator from swiss with name Daniel Atansio who is making a show with title "Billie Jean: The Show".

DIETER WIESNER NEUER MANAGER VON DANIEL ATANASIO 1. MÄRZ 2016

Dieter Wiesner, früherer Geschäftspartner und kurzzeitiger General-Manager vom King of Pop, hat das Management vom Schweizer Michael Jackson Imitator Daniel Atanasio übernommen. Dieser tritt am 14. Mai mit Band, Background-Sängern und Tänzern im KK Thun auf. Hier mehr zu “Billie Jean: The Show”.

I just wanted to update this thread with the new 'Dieter Weisner' webpage. We discussed his old 'Art Lima' projects (including 'Billie Jean' handwritten lyrics, etc) from post #137 on this thread, but they have now all been removed from the internet, as far as I can see.

The new webpage still has plenty of photos of MJ with Weisner, but no specific projects beyond the same book about his time with MJ that he was selling from 2015 onwards.

There is now no mention of Brett Livingston-Strong, or of MJ art on his site (as far as I can see).

I'm not sure who the Sheikh, who Dieter says is his new business partner (and who is also among the photos on the 'gallery page), is. (A member of the Qatari 'Al Thani' family....A Sheikh Ahmed Al Thani, apparently, but I am not at all sure).

I don't really trust Dieter Weisner. I won't be buying his book, or watching his channel.

I started reading this whole thread from the top last night, and wow, what a rabbit hole it is!

From what I gather, this “new” book is pretty much just an updated translation of his German book with audio and video snippets added in. So I don’t think it’s really worth it anyway. And his “new” video seems to be mostly a compilation of what has been on his YouTube channel since 2015. I haven’t watched it all the way through yet.

I don’t really expect any new “revelations” from these kind of people anyway, because if they had anything, they would have made money from it years ago.

I haven’t bought it. No way that guy gets my money for this. ;) If he had something to reveal, he would have done so years ago. I don’t expect to learn anything new from this, at least nothing that really actually happened outside his own head.

Any information on what became of Michael's supposed shares in CinéGroupe with its Pinocchio 3000 animation? One of those seemingly big projects Dieter mentions in the book without giving enough details. Wikipedia articles on the company and the film have no mention of MJ...

I got recently curious about CinéGroupe for the past week that Michael wants to own 51% of the animation company and work on “Pinocchio 3000”. I would like to one day contact CinéGroupe and ask them about his involvement until the Arvizos, Sneddon and the police ruined everything.
