For me, this interview was more getting questions than answers, i replyed to it there..
but on the case thing:
what does she mean by he is the fall guy? someone else in charge? and boss of murray? Why not talk then?
I wish she'd at least refer to him as one of the conspirators. Anything but this fall guy junk. It makes Murray sound as if he is some kind of victim. And the absolutely only victim was her brother. It's as if she diminishes Murray's role in all this and it's infuriating.
Generally speaking Fall guy could mean 2 things
1, an innocent bystander that you pin the crime on (for example Jack robs a bank, places the gun and money at innocent Joe's house to put the blame on him)
2, a person that accepts the guilt to protect other guilty people involved (Jack and Joe robs the bank together. Joe says I did it alone to protect Jack)
so a fall guy could be guilty or not guilty but in all versions it means that there are other people involved.
( in the above example when Joe is rightly or wrongly charged Jack isn't when he's the other party involved)
