John Muto developed his passion for philanthropy at an early age after watching a documentary about the life of Michael Jackson, which focused on Jackson’s charitable contributions and his Heal the World Foundation. John recalls seeing the late icon donating millions of dollars to different charities and explaining the importance of always giving back to others. At a young age, John was inspired by Jackson’s message which made him realize that he wanted a career that gave back to others.
Today, John serves as the President of the Heal Los Angeles Foundation, which he co-founded with Michael Jackson’s first-born, Prince Jackson, in 2019. The two met while pursuing their undergraduate degrees at Loyola Marymount University, where John proudly graduated in 2018. In his spare time, John can be found collecting sports memorabilia, cheering on the Dodgers and Lakers, and shopping at thrift stores.
