That song makes me cry. I played it when I was on the coach from Santa Maria to LAX airport when I was traveling home from Michael's trial in 2005. The song has reminded me of that time ever since......a few months after June 25th I heard it on the radio, and all of a sudden I felt the emotions from 2005...then heard the lyrics and just started crying.

A fellow Sting fan I see! Sting is one of my very very favorites. It's funny you say Field of Gold for Michael. That song came out not long after a childhood friend of mine was killed. I was 16 when he died, and he was only a few years older than me. I grew up with this friend, along with a bunch of other kids-mostly boys-from the time I was 5. We are all still friends today. Well when my friend was killed, it devastated us. Before he died he had also started to play the bag pipes too. So the same year that Fields of Gold came out my cousin who also hung around with us learned how to play the Bag Pipes in his honor and surprised us all one day by playing for us. Not long after that this song came out. I always think of the last verse of this song and think it's my friend talking to me and my friends, asking us to never forget him or the times we had, and when we do think of him to smile, not cry. I love Sting for writing this song. It really helped us all heal.

^Ohh yes :cry: Angel by Sarah McLachlan is a beautiful song. Never realized how perfect it is for Michael...God I just want to cry :weeping:
 
It's not really the song itself, but the music video itself. When I watch Ushers video OMG the video reminds me of MJ's Dangerous choreography , the lighting/of the Dirty Diana music video, and Rock With you music video.
