All the guest appearances (that were included in various MJ’s songs) are clearly not of equal appeal/importance.
Some of them are pretty good elevating even more the song’s appeal & being, in this way, a perfect match for certain songs. But some other offered really nothing new & went almost unnoticed. Also, in several cases, some of those appearances detracted (rather than added) from the song’s overall attractiveness.
Every new MJ’s (adult) studio album that came out included also some guest appearances &, among others, here are some of them:
- The guest, vocal appearance from Letta Mbulu (‘Liberian Girl’.
- The guest, guitar appearance from Carlos Santana (‘Whatever Happens’.
- The guest, vocal appearance from Patti Austin (‘It’s The Falling In Love’.
- The guest, guitar appearance from Slash (‘Black or White’.
- The guest, vocal appearance from Rod Serling (‘Threatened’.
- The guest, vocal appearance from Vincent Price (‘Thriller’.
- The guest, vocal appearance from The Notorious BIG (‘This Time Around’.
- The guest, guitar appearance from Eddie Van Halen (‘Beat It’.
- The guest, vocal appearance from Fats (‘Heartbreaker’.
- The guest, vocal appearance from Janet/La Toya (‘Pretty Young Thing’.
I am referring to any kind of guest appearances that were included in MJ’s officially released songs.
