I believe Will Smith and Snoop Dog would make great choices for working with Michael. That'll be awesome, I joked once that maybe 50 Cent can top Thriller for the next 2 decades. I dobut that'll happen but I like to see him try. LOL!

Will Smith. He knows how to make awesome, energetic rap music. Put that with MJ and you get...album better than life.

jay z and kanye are hot now... but will and mj would be a good combo!

I voted Will Smith because it's a nice person......and Snoop Dogg because it's the baddest rapper all over the world!!!!!!!!!!

In my opinion.....rap is crap. I don't get into it at all. I don't consider Will Smith rap. He's more hip hop..with a bit of rap. Of all the options to vote for, I chose Will...but if I had it my way, MJ wouldn't have a rapper on the album. His best albums (aside from Heavy D on the Dangerous album) didn't need rap and did very well without it. Off The Wall, Bad, Dangerous and Thriller had little or no rap at all and all were top selling albums.

I went for other, Big Boi, Andre 3000, or I could throw in LLCoolJ
In honesty I would prefer none!

You know I was actually thinking that Will smith couldnt rap and was whack. But I'm listining to some tracks off his 2005 album, I must say I'm liking it. Wow, I'm surprised at myself.............

i m sorry but to me only michael jackson shoulkd be on a michael jackson album and other then that i don t think much of most rapartists their songs are always with rude language notn the things you want kids to listen to if they like mj too so plain mj would be what i love most

No rappers should appear on Michael's albums. Some songs like Jam and Unbreakable are made for a rapping/hip hop middle section. But some really good/great songs have been ruined by rapping, when a perfectly cool instrumental keyboard guitar solo would have been more funky.

That must be an accapella album, lol. And what about Stevie Wonder, Patti Austin, Paul McCartney, Slash, etc? As far as the kids, I've heard them talk a lot worse than what's on a rap album. A lot of them are the ones buying the CDs anyway and part of the reason MJ uses rappers, to attract this audience.

i odnt know why you guys are dissing rap. listen to tupac shakur i bet even mike likes him. he has to be the most intelluetual rapper that ever livied. his raps were real dep. i wish him and mike did something

I can't believe Flava Flav is actually an option (Yeeeaaah Booooiiii!), lol.
'Flavor of Love' sucks, and dude's got no talent.
Other than that, this list doesn't make much sense. I mean, where the hell are Kanye West and will.i.am? You gotta be kidding yourself if you think will.i.am isn't gonna be a guest rapper on Michael's new album. I guess if I had to pick someone listed I'd go with Jay-Z. Hova's the best rapper alive in my opinion.
Btw, hip-hop rules the world.
Haters: bow down.

Hollaback.

some people choose t watch porn when horny, natural. fair enough
but someone like michael wouldnt choose to listen to "go to sleep B**ch (bang) die mother F**ker die, ughh, times up B**ch close your eyes...go to sleep B**ch (bang) why are you still alive?.. How many times i gotta say close ur eyes"

Well, this is the same guy that was married to a potty mouth so I do not think thtat MJ would have a big issue doing a song with a rapper that cusses a lot. However, the female bashing and violence, I do not think that anyone with morals, and Mike has morlas, would not do a song with a rapper that loves to trash women in their sonmgs.

I chose Chuck D because he is a lyricist and he speaks the truth. I chose Will Smith because I love the guy and he is clean. I love Jay-Z and he and Mike would do a great song together. I chose Snoop and Ice Cube because they always respected Michael. Lastly, I chose Mos Def because I like the way he raps. I would rather MJ work with rappers who are very socially aware like Nas, Kanye, and Common to name a few. Mike is a socially aware dude so he can def. mesh with them. I really don't think that Em should work with Mike. After what he did to Mike, hell no.

Nas would be an incredible collaboration.
Nas speaks the truth, and his lyrics are just poetry.
To a degree, I think he and MJ could probably relate in away.
If Pac were alive, he would be the perfect match.
Hov would be a great energy felt one.
Nas would be top dog for me though. Of course will.i.am is a strong possibility to be used. Maybe a Kanye collab would be alright.

---Nas

We can be sure he'd put so much energy into the collabo and spit some ill lyrics. He might spend huge amount of hours with his rhyme book. He's a big fan, wouldn't he be willing to work his ass off to make it meaningful to the fullest? I think he'd give it his all.

If the collabo becomes a reality, Nas would have to give me and some others here highfive:D We'd be able to hear him talking about MJ in interviews just like Missy did, from a real fan's perspective.

None lol. I prefer his songs w/out the raps. I like the rap in This Time Around and Thriller tho. . . . I voted for Chuck D; I've always been a fan. I like his powerful and clear voice, and topical lyrics.

Snoop Dogg, ludachris and jay z

wtf?? will smith?? his voice his not even catchy

Will Smith (first choice!), Nas, Kanye West, talib kwali, common

thats crazy talk, dude has mad skills lyricly, hes original, hes a pioneer.

"why should I try to sound like yall sound? thats whats wrong with the rap game right now, man it like a circus with a bunch of clowns with a bunch of clicks I'll probably rap circals around"- from his latest album LOST AND FOUND

I already answered Nas, but got more to say. The other day I was listening to I Can off God's Son album. Out of the blue, a light bulb popped up in my head!:D For those who haven't heard the song...It's about inspiring ghetto kids to work hard and be all they can be and there's a part where he talks about history, the dark histroy about how the European Imperialism started slavery in Africa and degraded African culture. So, it'd be a fantastic collabo if Mike and Nas makes a song like this, I mean the one for children and about teaching history. We all know children is one of the greatest inpirations for Mike and also he loves history. Esp. I can clearly see that in the interview with Rev.Jesse Jackson and he was touching on the similar topic to the one that Nas brought up.

i say no rap at all on the next album and i myself am a rapper, but id like to hear some 2pac and mj, no?
