mjtkop.com (Michael Jackson The King Of Pop) used to be a Michael Jackson fansite and forum. It had quite a big community but one day it randomly went offline. It was last online in early 2007, I remember the news articles it had about Michael's stay in Japan. Does anyone here remember that site and/or know what happened to it?

Were you a member? I thought maybe the owner couldn't afford it any more but he could have re-made the site on a free sitebuilder and emailed us all the new address first. Maybe the owner died?
 
So I guess no one here was a member of that site? Just bumping this up in case someone missed it the first time.
 
Sorry, Im just a guest of that site. Maybe it is the first MJ place that I ever visited. I didn't acess into it a long time! :scratch:

Same here, it was one of the first fan sites that I have visited, but then I was more interested in the picture gallery. I am sure the site was online until early 2008 not 2007, but I don't know what happened, guess mjjpictures will follow as theay are on hiatus since almost one year.

Yes I think I meant to write 2008 but the latest news I can remember from MJTKOP (my first fan site) was Michael in Japan in March 07

I used to visit that site a lot but I don't think I ever really posted there.
I remember it dissapearing out of nowhere while I was in the middle of reading a fanfiction story that was being made on the board. It kept getting updated with new chapters so I never got to finish reading it. That was upsetting. Especially since no explanation was given. It was quite a good site I thought.
 
not sure if this is the site im thinking of but they did a couple of fan parties in essex? if its that site seems it was just set up by a few fans
 
Guys, I found some info on this. Fans discuss the disappearance of the site's admin Martin and the disappearance of the site soon after. It is assumed that Martin died. @Loyal2MJJ - Please tell me the proper spelling of the username as there is no member here with that name. Also, how do you know?
 
in my free time, this days (i hadnt internet in home) i went to internet cafes and saw this site.it was good.never find why it is closed
 
I posted this over at Max Jax to see if anyone there knew anything about it and I got a very good response from PrettyYoungThing. who is also a member of this forum. Although I did not find out what happened to MJTKOP or its admin, I can see the website and forum and have a search for my old posts.
