Spanish producer/documentarian Marcos Cabotá claims to have seen a contract between Robson/Safechuck and Amos Pictures LTD (a British enterprise and one of the co-producers of Leaving Neverland) that guarantees the former parties a percentage of whatever money the film makes. Cabotá explains further:
Cabotá was one of the first people to see Leaving Neverland after its Sundance premiere, and later participated in a roundtable with The MJ Cast in which he condemned the film as emotionally manipulating and poorly acted.
Profit-sharing agreements in film are almost always made before production/filming begins. This means that Robson and Safechuck knew no later than February 2017 that they stood to make money off this project.
And yet, just this morning in a CBS interview, Dan Reed yet again claimed that neither of them were offered any money for their participation.
Even on the off-chance the profit-sharing clause was added to their contract after filming had begun/finished, it's still a noteworthy omission from their press run. Or perhaps Reed expected someone to do some digging and has been carefully stating that they were never offered money, just in case he had to save face.
The lies keep on rolling in.
OMG! I cannot believe people are still ****ing blind and they believe all the bullshit.
