Firstly, my instincts were telling me it wasn't Michael and I'm not saying that to be wise after the event. My reactions to the pic were changing back and forth every nano second. I was all, 'oh god, he's so sexy I'm going to die right now', and then I'd be, 'yeah, but that is not how Michael presents himself, I've never seen that'. Then back to, 'oh god, kill me now', and then, 'yeah, but that REALLY is not his vibe'. I decided he was going for a whole other 'thang' and just went with it.
Second reason - this is my fantasy. As soon as I saw the pic my common sense and knowledge of Michael went to war with my fantasy and the fantasy won and I'm OK with that. If this was Michael it would be 'low key' Michael and I would totally falling apart. In fact, I did fall apart. For a while, at least.
I did think, 'why would someone DO that?' Is real Michael not sexy enough? What is wrong with you (random person who did this)?
Weird.
I think real Michael is way sexy enough. Don't go changing him.

I understand it’s not for everyone, but I am one of those people who find it mega sexy because I just love how ferocious he is in those moments. It’s beyond to me. The first time I saw him do it I think I squealed or screamed or cried or something in between, but it was a very good and strong reaction. The gif in question is one I have shared a couple times too because I just love it… it’s my favorite one of him doing it too!
But hey, we all have our preferences! I’m not into all of Michael’s different looks (meaning, while he is always beautiful, they don’t all get me going lol) but then our mixed preferences are part of what make the thread so fun
Yeah, me and the shirt ripping. Never gonna happen. You know I said Michael irritates me quite a lot? Well, here's one reason. But it doesn't make me love him any less. The people I love, I don't expect them to be brilliant 100% and I don't expect to love every single thing they do. Michael is my guy. That's just never gonna change. And, yeah, I love all the different ways we all love him. Sometimes we are on the same page, all of us, other times we diverge a bit. It's fab. I love it. Your reactions? Love them. The entertainment value is off the chart, lol. Love it.

My eyes definitely have built their home on his face (with a recently added side extension for the hollow in his neck). Everything is beautiful but it's all about his face. As I have said repeatedly.

Cos it looks a lot like one I found in the archives a while back and was gonna bump it but didn't cos he's wearing green swimming trunks and ... nah, just couldn't. The picture didn't get me going but I thought one of you peeps might enjoy it but the green trunks, I just couldn't do it. Might see if I can find it again.

I really would be shocked if this particular picture turned out to be photoshopped because it looks very real to me. But I suppose it is always possible! There was a period of time when it seemed like all the Jackson boys were very into their abs haha so it woudn't surprise me if Michael was too. To be honest, he is someone I'd sort of expect to have more defined abs simply because of the amount of constantly activity in his life and obvious core strength (I say all of this as someone with non-existant core strength who does 90% of my work on a computer and thus not moving lol).
Anyway, I would be very disappointed if this was photoshopped, mostly because it would have circulated fan communities quite extensively. But Michael was sexy no matter what his form actually looked like

I've said it before. I am convinced that my inner awareness kept me away from Michael in past decades so as to protect me. I loved him and it was crazy intense but I also kept my distance. I'm convinced my instincts were keeping me safe. And I'm grateful.
Yeah, he really is an entire universe. Which is good because, god knows, he inspires a whole universe of emotional reactions in me. In all of us. All of those complicated feelings, however weird and sometimes unbearable they might seem, it all makes perfect sense. All the complicated, crazy mixed-up feelings are as sweet and essential and wonderful as I could hope for them to be.
I don't really understand anything about Michael but I am able to accept it and, on some sort of inner 'plane' (whatever!) I understand all of it perfectly. We all do. We all struggle to find the right vocabulary but, underneath all that, we really already know.

I'm not offended, as you say, by someone photoshopping an image of Michael but I do think, 'why the feck would you do that?' Just why? Even though that image that fooled me did create my fantasy I would prefer for the image to not exist. Because that is not how Michael presented himself so, you know, just don't bother. I think it was MM90 posted a photo the other day (Fave Pics) and ML picked it up as a photoshop image. It was a profile pic, Bad era, the long hair etc. The thing that got me is, there are many pics of Michael from that exact period looking very like 'he' did in the fake pic. Someone spent time creating a fake picture of Michael which isn't massively different (apart from the obvious) to many of the genuine pictures from that era. Um, why not enjoy one of the real photos?
Your reactions to Michael are great. A testament to his ongoing power even after all this time. Your reactions are ferocious (great word, btw) which I think illustrates the extent of Michael's awesomeness (oh god, that word again. I really need a new vocaculary for the man).

Did just go and look at the site. The version they have is the black boxers version. So did someone on this thread alter it, presumably for 'Manhood' purposes? Or is it the other way around? Someone covered the green trunks with the black boxers cos they wanted to make the photo more 'modest' and then upload the image to a general site?
My guess would be that the green trunks are the original cos I think it would be hard to cover those black boxers with these tiny trunks and also somehow reveal more of Michael's legs.

They seem to not be able to settle anywhere. When they look at the face, they want to check out the abs, then start to move down and then get distracted by hands, and then sometimes back to the face again and then the hair! I would leave them alone but the problem is they also take my mind and heart on this rollercoaster journey too. And that is just Dangerous!!

The green swimming trunks picture came from P.480 of this thread so I don't think there are any clues re number of views. Although, tbf, I didn't look that closely. I saw green trunks and thought, 'no thank you' and moved on, lol.

It works for me in TDCAU (Prison). Cos there it looks like he's got something to say. The first time he does it is the best but even the second time is fine. I don't watch that one too often (too painful) but have just watched it now. I'm reclaiming my Michaeling. Yay!

TDCAU Brazil is my fave version and, yeah, the ripped t-shirt. Every bit as awesome as Come Together. But the 2 moments in Prison version, they feel meaningful. The first one in particular, there's a feeling of ... I dunno ... anger, desperation, frustration, needing release. He's definitely saying something and it ain't about how sexy he is.
