Assistant engineer Rob Hoffman stated that 'Willing And Waiting' remained only as a Babyface vocal guide demo.

The reason, according to him, was its high calibre which acted in a way as a deterrent for Michael Jackson to record the song for himself.

That is an accurate story, yeah.

It's really just MJ passing over another love song to sing something harder.

It was later learned that due to Michael Jackson's death, Janet wanted to release it in 2015 in memory of her brother, but was canceled by its producers."

In 2015, a fan (via Twitter) asked Legacy Recordings (which is a division of Sony Music) for more information about the supposed 'Days Of The Broken Hearted' duet song.

Legacy Recordings appeared to have confirmed the existence of that duet song.

Legacy Recordings even asked fans to hashtag that duet song in order to release it as a single (hashtag #DaysoftheBrokenHeartedAsASingle).

There were also some rumours that 'Days Of The Broken Hearted' was meant for inclusion on the 'Michael' posthumous album (2010).

@MJ5, that information about the so-called 'Ask Her It' song does not make sense.

If it was recorded by Janet Jackson and Michael Jackson between 1993 and 1995, then how was it meant for the 'Dangerous' album which had been released in 1991?

Also, Janet Jackson does not have a song called 'Ask Her It' in her 'Discipline' album (that album was released in 2008, not in 2005).

Assuming this is true, I personally feel this whole situation has gone way too far. I'm not gonna play innocent and say that I haven't listened to the leaks and all, but at the end of the day, it's not worth someone being threatened over.
 
Wouldn't be surprised if there are security guards for the laptops, themselves, in future seminars. As absurd as that sounds. But then again, the escape was pretty movie-esque...
