Let's end the confusion about MJ's unreleased tracks here

There's a paper with these songs listed on it:

Ask The Lonely - Four Tops
Baby I Need Your Loving - Four Tops
Reach Out I'll Be There - Four Tops
In Da Club - 50 Cent
Got Some Reeth - Obie Trice
California Love - Dr Dre
The Watcher (Explicit) - Dr Dre
The Watcher (Clean) - Dr Dre
The Watcher (Instrumental) - Dr Dre

Remember how Damien Shields said that there were at least 3 songs from Neff-U's sessions that sounded like Dr Dre's The Watcher and 50 Cent's In Da Club? This could be more indication of what sound MJ wanted to head for.

And lol. If MJ actually knew about the Casio tracks. Maybe even signed off on them? Then they basically put writer's demoes on the CD. Which is still crazy, but almost not (Smooth) Criminal.
Which means that if "Breaking News" was intended for Michael, then it'd rank up with some of the worst material MJ has ever recorded. Imagining MJ himself singing in the third person is really embarassing to think about.

This was definitely MJ's sonic influence. Catchy, hip hop hooks and those classic 2000s beats. And of course vintage vocal harmonies.

Also worth mentioning that there's a CD with the titles Unbelieavable, Owner Of A Lonely Heart, Satisfaction and Money For Nothing written on it.
These are maybe more past references. OOALH was a huge sample element for HIStory, D.S in particular. Maybe they referred to more upcoming material too.

Nah. The worst part about BN is hearing a guy that clearly isn't MJ singing about being MJ. I mean, that song isn't even included in these items right? So we don't even have to discuss it. But it wouldn't have been that bad if he had at least sang it.

Just found a link to the court filings. There’s some very interesting items included, including an astonishing number of CDs. Highlights:
  • “Throwin’ Your Life Away” (p. 7)
  • “Earth Love,” dated April 22, 2009 and written in another person’s handwriting (p. 8)
  • “Dancing for Love - RedOne” (p. 12)
  • “Ready 2 Win,” written in another person’s handwriting (p. 15)
  • “Love Heals - MJ Neff-U New Funk” (p. 16)
  • “Ron great industrial age song” (p. 18)
  • “Breath” (p. 25)
  • “All Right,” written in another person’s handwriting (p. 29)
  • “Dance MJ McKellar” (p. 32)
  • “Heaven With a Smile,” dated April 17, 2009 and written in another person’s handwriting (p. 40)
  • “Song #4 - 1.2.6 Bible,” dated May 16, 2007 and written in the same handwriting as the miscellaneous CDs sold by Frank Cascio (p. 48)
  • “Ghost of Another Lover,” dated April 29, 2009, written in another person’s handwriting, and containing two mixes (“Mix 7 with Intro” and “Mix 4 No Intro”) (p. 52)
There’s also a slightly blurry picture of 35 additional CDs (p. 72), among which you can see the titles “Hollywood Tonight,” “Throwin’ Your Life Away,” “Miami Vice” (could be in relation to the TV series), and “Broken Chair.” Additionally, there are an extra set of lyrics for “You Were There” (p. 78):

You were there for the good times and the bad
When I’ve lost all that I had
You were there to have, to hold
When the world all came together
Trying to take away my soul
When the walls came down on me
You were there when the walls came tumbling down
Man, more stuff just keeps popping up.

I've listened to some of the songs, Got Some Teeth sounds a lot like in Da Club and The Watcher so it's definitely what he based on while making his own songs with Neff-U. Baby I Need You definitely has those classic MJ vocal harmonies lol.

Yeah, it actually sounds like The Way You Love Me. Has the same swinging vibes. It's way more Beach Boys but overall, it's strong resemblances.
It sounds more like the harmonies on the bridge of Al Capone. Take a listen, they sound extremely similar.

This version is more worked than the demo for the album "Dangerous"?

I really like the LQ demo that we have online, but I hope to one day have the opportunity to hear the latest version of this song! (even if it's not finished)

We don't know if MJ revisited it between Dangerous and 09, or what he added or changed if he did.

Some really interesting finds, I find MJs life around that period the most fascinating.

“Dome Dailies” - maybe Michael was getting the daily rehearsal tapes to study?

Lots of unreleased music which is interesting.

3 films in the works too with that AEG contract

Is there a link to the paper with these titles?
This is quite cool

I'm confused. Where did all this stuff come from? Are they definately legit? And if so, is there any chance anything from these CDs will come out?

The song appeared on the 2009 lists of songs found in MJ home
There are a CD of the song with 2 mixes, with other CD from 2007-2009
So the songs was very likely rework in 2008-2009

Interesting to notice : Dr Freeze mentions "five or six tracks recorded". We know Break of dawn, Blue Gangsta, A Place with no name. Maybe Rise It Above All.
So, there are one or two other tracks. Jungle City ?
He probably included the tracks which he submitted to MJ after the release of "Invincible". If I remember correctly, "Is She Coming Back" was sent by Freeze to Michael in 2008. On top of that, there was a CD with "Freeze New" written on it that can be found in the Jeffre Phillips lawsuit documents.

Yes Is she come back was submitted, but not recorded by MJ. Dr Freeze mentioned a fifth song recorded by MJ during the Invincible sessions

Wow. This is amazing.

Where did this come from all of a sudden?

Seems like MJ was more active after 2005 than I thought. - Great news
It came from LaToya's ex husband taking a bunch of stuff out of MJ's house after he died. It's a court case right now.

Yeah, if I’m not mistaken, part of the stipulation to do the concerts was that AEG would fund some movies that MJ would ostensibly star in. Fascinating.
Isn't it amazing that we are still finding so much out about that time period? Wish I could be a fly on the wall somewhere and listen to all of this material etc
