The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

I don't care if it's Neverland landing world.of candy or a certain someone's constant "which invincible cover colour is your favourite ice cream flavour.

They just take up unnecessarily space and makes others very frustrated to scroll through almost 700 pages of the same same repetitive nonsense
No argument from me on that front

My hot take is that “Shut Up and Dance” is not that good of a song. I think that song more than anything did validate the need of a hot new producer.

A perfect compromise would be MJ composed mid tempo and down tempos and some well made up tempos in collab with a producer. Ideally, the best of the Neptunes, the best of Darkchild, and Teddy brings Whatever Happens and Don’t Walk Away and then goes home.

It’s good it’s just cringe cuz MJ didn’t sing it

I agree wholeheartedly. Honestly, I’d go as far to say it’s bad. The bass line is okay, but the production feels like the Trolls soundtrack, the lyrics are horrendous, and Kirkland’s MJ impression is… not something I care to listen to.

Can’t say I’m sad that MJ never laid vocals down.

Disagree, and we’ve only heard about 20 seconds of the track. it’s a funky track, I like it.
We've heard most of the track and we have a basic idea on how the whole thing sounds.
Only details are missing.
But I will have to disagree with the rest of the members.
The song had a huge potential if Michael had the time to work on it. I'd even go as far and say it's hit worthy.

I don't really care about listening to SUAD since we've practically already heard it all and it isn't anything impressive to me but I'm very interested in hearing the rest of "I Love You More", the beat sounds so modern for MJ. And since we're on the topic of Eric Kirkland songs I'd also like to hear "Beatbox 2010", I've always wondered what the hell does that even sound like lol.

I used to ask myself the same question about songs like "Brad Loop" and "Michael's Affirmation", those are random studio scraps you wouldn't care about listening to more than a few times but it's so surreal we managed to hear them, to me those are the most fascinating type of leaks due to how obscure those tracks are. There just isn't any way those songs are able to ever be released.

Unfortunately I love you more is very mid. The vocals for this track are pretty bad.

The instrumental is all that I care about really. No hate to Eric but his vocals sounds more like a tacky Bobby Brown impression lol.

Have you heard the song? Are you able to say if the instrumental has an unheard section or if Korgnex's snippet is enough to give an idea of the full track?

Korgnex's snippet is enough to give an idea of the full track, which isn't really a bad thing! I'm a big fan of the instrumental.

Then I guess it’s like Dangerous the Demo vs Dangerous the Final Song, with a new style added to it I would like it more.

Forgot to post this earlier, but I’m listening to You Rock My World rn and yeah, it’s no contest, this over SUAD any day. This is such a weird hill for me to die on lol.

Cringe vocals, not worth it

Also Brad Loop has vocals (non coherent) ;)
I just came across a comment by jackson.ch saying that there are MJ vocals throughout the entire track and all I can think about is that Michael's creative process couldn't possibly be more random. Dude picks this random groove to record full vocals (presumably with no lyrics, but still full) to and even locks in on finishing up some auditory slop like "World Of Candy" but when it came to finishing up songs that had more potential, were almost finished, or was just given a chorus like "Rocker", "Hollywood Tonight", "Deep In The Night", "Loving You" etc. he leaves them unfinished for years, and even decades. Michael's brain needed to be studied.
