Dolby Atmos Remixes of all albums to be released

Are you referring to his background vocals that say “speed demon”? I never heard this “speeding” lyric
I had to reply to you again because after hearing the acapella for Speed Demon I’m fairly certain that he sings “Speeding” and not “Speed Demon”, haha.

100% singing “Speed Demon”
Whaat? Maybe I’m tripping out haha. Now I must listen again. Where do you hear “demon” in that acapella? Demon has two syllables “De-mon”, I cannot hear the last syllable. If he sung Speed Demon” there would be three clear syllables: “Speed De-mon”

To me it almost sounds like part of the word demon has been is cut off in that video. Haven't compared to the original.
Idk, it does not sound cut off at all to me because you can hear him enunciate “spe-Diinnn” (the-N) followed by an exhale. I feel like a scientist

There are only bg vocals on that part with MJ coming in with the lead after with the part “Speeding on the freeway” etc

this is without reverb which makes it even clearer

He says "-mon" right before/during the "exhale", the bad isolation does not help. But yeah, he's 120% saying Speed Demon for sure.

But it’s not a bad isolation since it’s part of the multitracks? It’s the actual stem of the song and listening to it in isolation and even the song in full context the “-mon” is not there.

Listening to the demo where he actually sings “Speed Demon “ (although he phrases it differently” near the end, is how clear the “-mon” should sound.

he very clearly sings "Speed Demon" in the BGV chorus, no idea how people here "Speedin'". For those who don't have access to the original studio multi-tracks, he sings "Speed Demon", the "de" is just very shortly sung.

This is with a boosted EQ. You really hear this as “Demon” ? There is no “M” or “O” here.

it is so obvious that I'm literally wondering if yall are listening on a toaster or potato

I've listened to the song a ton of times and not once have I misheard it as "Speeding"

If sung or spoken it would be “SPEED DE-MON”
That’s three syllables for the entire phrase, no matter how you say it. In the slowed clip, as far as I can here, does he sing “SPEED-DING”, and that’s two syllables. Maybe we just going to agree to disagree here.

Do you hear the word “Demon” in this slowed clip?

Edit: I also wanted to point out that he’s not singing “Speeding” in the regular way, he pronounces it spee-duuuhnn” if that makes sense. But he’s singing the word speeding and not speed demon, that’s what I believe haha.

it is three syllables, just "de" is very short, that's it

I have no idea how you can even here two syllables, to me every single letter is as clear as day

Maybe you’re misunderstanding me. I’m not saying that the “De” syllable is missing.

The phrase “Speed Demon” has three syllables. One for “Speed”
One for “De”
and one for “Mon”

Two syllables in that phrase are clear, those are “Speed” and “De” but there is no audible third syllable (-MON). But we can hear that it ends on a nasal (-N)

If there is no third syllable (-MON) and it ends with a nasal “-N” then it must surely be that he is singing “Speedin[g]” and not “Demon”?
