And Scared of the Moon was about the Moon and why everyone on Earth should be scared of it.

Posting this here in case it turns out to be legit. Apparently Motif confirmed it's real but there are other people saying it's fake so it's conflicting

I came across this song "Just A Lover In My Life, I’m not sure if it’s already been discussed here, but it’s an interesting find. It seems that at least some vocal parts were recorded. It’s a dark track, similar in tone to She Was Lovin’ Me.

So the beef between MJ and Mottola started already during or even before the early stages of Invincible..? (or is this common knowledge..?)

'We went first to Sony studios for a few days and because he was having that rift with Tommy Mottola, we left and went to the Hit Factory.'

and

'Michael told me it was one of his favorite songs on Invincible and was one of the first songs he recorded for that album.

i hope the estate gives us a release with tomboy. the amount of collectors with it is so low itll probably never leak
I’d prefer them to release the songs that have solid vocals and are lyrically complete. For example, World of Candy and What More Can I Give

I can say with absolute certainty that the worst thing the estate could do right now would be releasing “World of Candy.” I truly hope that song never comes into conversation.
I remember Nisha Kataria tried to release "World Of Candy" on an album of hers but she got denied by the Estate and I felt bitter at the Estate when I read that. I see now they were trying to protect us.

I don’t get why people don’t like this song. Is it because of the vocals? I’m listening to the acapella right now, and while it’s hard to judge the quality for sure, the vocals seem okay to me... After all, Michael recorded this song for children. It really gives off Childhood and The Lost Children vibes

Let's just say WoC is the song equivalent of "Miss Castaway". So many bad decisions during that time.

For me, beyond it being a very cheesy song, anything that draws attention to MJ’s inappropriate relationship with children would be a nightmare, especially since the Cascios are starting up their crusade. No matter what the public perception of his guilt/innocence may be, no need to give the other side ammo.

They could play this during a scene of extreme violence and it wouldn’t even be out of place.

It is well-documented that Teddy Riley joined later in production for Invincible, i.e. during 2001. Later than Richard seems to suggest here… so makes sense if things were becoming rocky between MJ and Mottola at that point, with Michael spending too long on the record.
