Dolby Atmos Remixes of all albums to be released

Maybe you’re misunderstanding me. I’m not saying that the “De” syllable is missing.

The phrase “Speed Demon” has three syllables. One for “Speed”
One for “De”
and one for “Mon”

Two syllables in that phrase are clear, those are “Speed” and “De” but there is no audible third syllable (-MON). But we can hear that it ends on a nasal (-N)

If there is no third syllable (-MON) and it ends with a nasal “-N” then it must surely be that he is singing “Speedin[g]” and not “Demon”?
I clear hear him say "DE-MON" lol

Do we know what happened to this? It's release week. I thought the Atmos mixed would be out by now.

Will it be on amazon music? I assume they won't release them on CD (not that I ever use a CD player lol)
They can't be released on CD. And streaming them will sound so bad that it will be pointless.

The only way to listen to an Atmos mix is on Blu-ray, via an Atmos amplifier and a set of at least 8 speakers.

48kHz, 667kbps is fine for most people, very close to the lossless 1411kbps 44.1kHz-16-Bit. Most don't even hear a difference between 256kbps mp3s and most outputs don't even support it really. 98% who listen to those mixes don't even have a Dolby Atmos setup. 8 speakers is still just 7.1, no object metadata which Dolby Atmos is, will be used, you'd need at least a 7.1.2 speaker setup. Blu-rays may come in the future if general sales of Blu-ray Audios rise.

For reference, when I mix in Atmos, it's on a 9.1.6 speaker set-up. For general stereo mixing, I prefer headphones and use the Sennheiser HD 600, and yes I do notice quality differences between lossless and lossy.

As long as it sounds good at 100 volume on my AirPods, we (Yes, I) do not care.

Ikr? And I don’t know if you guys noticed but they recently added that real time lyrics karaoke thing to ALL Michael Jackson songs (more specifically off the wall - invincible. Not BOTDF sadly)

What I mean the real time lyrics I mean when the lyrics does that little animation when the singer sings if that make sense 😅

Guys, apparently OTW and Dangerous are available in DA? Can anyone confirm?

I redownloaded the albums on AM and they have the badge but aren’t playing. Even the “create station” method isn’t working for me. I’m also in the US.

I checked on multiple devices, and the only device on which I saw a badge on one of the albums was my Apple TV, and only with OTW (not including Thriller). It only played in stereo for me

Unrelated, but the biopic's soundtrack album just got animated artwork. I'm wondering if the other albums will get them as well.

no badges on the albums, i said screw it let’s play remember the time… i’m listening to it in Dolby Atmos right now.

okay so its only available on remember the time, but i noticed jam received an update.. it used to sound very poor in quality, no matter what. idk if anyone else observed this, but it sounds cleaner now.
edit : the create station method works once again. i created a station for jam, got dangerous in Dolby atmos in the process
edit 2 : jam sounds like a different mix of the base song entirely to me. it is in dolby atmos, but its quite different.
edit 3 : previously unheard (i think?) adlibs in the last 40 seconds of black or white
edit 4 : “cuz if it’s achin’ you have to rub it” sounds HORRIBLE on in the closet. sounds like it was filtered from the actual record. other than that, the main vocal comes across clearer during the chorus, some instrumentation takes a back seat. the start to the chorus doesn’t always hit as hard with the percussion. overall sounds a bit weird in places.
edit 5 : who is it is a faithful mix to what we’re used to, sounds nice to me. MAYBE a previously unheard adlib towards the end.
